In Fate's Multiverse ironically, the death of Error had brought balance. Ink was to distraught to create and even destroyed most if not all of his unfinished AUs. Nightmare was always in his passive state. His own negative emotions overloading the parasite that he usually allowed control. Blue and some of the Bad Guys were still trying to kill Ink, every time Ink came to an AU they would somehow find him and attack. Because of this, Ink was finally starting to understand how it must have felt to be Error. And even more ironically the only AU blue and the others never seemed to go to, was OuterTale. Error's favorite AU and thinking spot, had became Ink's only safe Haven from Blue. Ink was truly living Error's life at this point, everywhere he went he was ambushed and beaten. His guilt stopping him from fighting back, he deserved the beatings. All of this was his fault after all.
As for Dream, he hadn't left the Star's Base since the incident. After everyone left, that lingering feeling of pure happiness Error felt came back, and it made Dream physically ill. To the point of being completely bedridden, Nightmare was at the Star's base too. He was taking care of Dream, who was unable to do anything. It was so bad Nightmare had to have Dream hooked to an IV as any time he ate, he'd vomit. They had just lost one half of the most important Balance in the Multiverse, Nightmare had to make sure they didn't lost another balance. As this was going on the Balance of Life and Death also seemed off, as in there was a balance. Without Ink's over creation and Error's forced destruction, the balance of Life and Death was so perfect. That Reaper actually had time off to visit Geno, and finally tell him the news of Error's death. Suffice to say, he didn't take it well. By this time Fresh had found a new host, and went to check on his favorite Bro Error. Only to find, his strings missing, the puppets laying on the ground, and all his souls flying around.
Instantly something felt off to Fresh, then he realized something, he felt something. There was only a few times Fresh had ever felt anything, but every time it involved his bros. Fresh aimlessly walked around Error's "home" looking at all the stuff he had. A pile of chocolate, the bean bag chair that Fresh got Error for his birthday. The shelf Geno got him for Giftmas, on the shelf were three puppets, Geno, Fresh, and Error. The Error puppet unfinished, missing a mouth. Fresh looked at it, picking it up he pulled out his sewing kit. He wasn't as good as Error, but he wasn't an amateur by any means. He took his time very carefully sewing on the puppet's mouth.
Fresh: "Dere ya go bro, I'm guessing... you're finally happy... So I g-gave you a b-big smile."
With tears rolling down his cheeks, Fresh put the puppet back where he found it. If anyone were to see it, it would be obvious from the stitching that the smile wasn't put on by Error. Pulling out his phone Fresh took a pic of the puppets, naming it "A happy family" before he left the Anti-Void. The unspeakably loud silence returning to the white void, that was until Core Frisk came to visit. She had always really liked Error, so she wanted to leave him some flowers after finding out what happened. She left the flowers, gathered the souls to take them to the Omega timeline, and found something. A gift bag, medium sized, purple with a pink stripe, addressed to... her. Taped to it was a note.
Note: "I'm not good at writing these things, but whatever. If your reading this Core, I either finally killed myself. Or I got up the courage to give you something for Giftmas. I hope it's the latter cause I know ya like me. And honestly, I kinda like ya too, and not in the replacement way like the out codes do. Heh, see I suck at this, anyway I remembered you saying that you liked my old jacket. So happy Giftmas or birthday or whenever you get this. And if I'm dead, I'm sorry for being a coward."
Core's hands were trembling, she only hoped the gift wasn't what she was thinking. Opening the bag Core carefully pulled out the gift, and it was worse than she thought. She had expected a jacket, but she didn't except it to be his actual jacket. She thought it would be a matching one he made, but it wasn't he had fixed up his jacket to give to her. She clutched it tightly to her chest as she curled up on the floor of the Anti-Void. She loud uncontrollable sods piercing the silence of the empty white void. For three days, she laid motionless and crying. And it probably would have been longer, if Geno, and Reaper, didn't show up brought there by Fresh to pay their respects. When they got there, they found Core crying and asleep. Still clutching the jacket, and after reading the note, they understood why. By the time Core woke up, she was in Fresh's apartment, covered up by the Jacket. A gray blush slowly lighting up her face, as she sat up.
Geno: "You're finally awake, that's great."
Reaper: "Yea, you slept like the dead for about a week."
Core: "I... slept for a week?"
Fresh: "Ya but don't worry sis, we got dos souls to the Omega Timeline for ya."
Core was confused, why did they help her? And why was Fresh suddenly calling her sis instead of Core brah? Then she remembered the note, and her blush went from slight to glowing. It even turned to a grayish pink, much to her embarrassment.
Geno: "I'm sure you two would have.... b-been r-r-r-really..."
Reaper: "Geno, I know it's hard but try and calm down."
Reaper pulled Geno into a tight hug, gently rubbing his back trying his best to comfort him. Core felt her tears return as well. They began rolling heavily down her cheeks, as she thought of the lives that could have been. All her hopes and dreams were shattered and turned to dust. The only person she loved, and one of the two people that treated her like she was an actual person was dead. And what's worse, it was Ink's fault, the person she thought of as her best friend. Killed the her soul mate, and broke her Red thread of Destiny, all because he was to blind to see the truth. If she was more vengeful she'd hunt him down, but right now, she was just heart broken. She was hurt, and hurting, and she wanted to join Error where ever he was. But she couldn't, she was already Void touched. Meaning she wouldn't die from jumping into the void, she'd just be spit out in a random AU. She couldn't die nor kill herself, not until the multiverse collapsed. She was forever separated from her, destined partner, like Romeo and Juliet their tale ended in tragedy. Only unlike Romeo and Juliet, their tale hadn't even began yet, it was to horrible for words.
And then a miracle, a horrible terrible miracle, the Void itself pulled Core in. Right in front of Geno, Reaper, and Fresh. A dark hand grabbed her pulling her in with the jacket. It was to fast to even process, but slow enough to see. It was terrifying and cold, yet warm and inviting. And then it was gone, and so was Core. Instantly the three searched high and low for Core, only to find nothing. Their search lead them back to the Anti-void where they found something. A new puppet, a Core puppet, placed next to Error's their wrists tied together in red thread.
Reaper: "The red thread of Destiny?"
Geno: "What does this mean?"
Fresh: "Bro I think dis means Core's going to where ever Error Bro is."
Reaper: "I hope you're right..."
