Chapter 1

17 years ago.....

Ares was only a baby he was currently eight months old. Camille has tried to get Klaus and Hayley to get to know him and raise their own kid but they always came up with an excuse like Hope is more important or Hope needs us more.

She tried for months for them to only too soon realized that they weren't gonna want anything to do with him and slowly stopped trying. She even talked to Klaus about him not raising his son like he's suppose too but he would just ignore her.

Camille has took place as the mother she knew he well deserved. She even took him to the bayou to meet the other wolves and that's when he met Jackson. She then told him what was happening and ever since then Ares always hung out with either Camille or Jackson or even Davina sometimes.

Jackson had formed a bond with Ares that couldn't be broken. Whenever Camille didn't have him Jackson always did. He soon saw the side of Hayley he had never expected from her. He didn't want to be with her no more but only stayed for the sake of the pack.

Camille and Jackson had become Ares parents to him. They soon introduced him to everyone in the pack and too Marcel and Josh. Marcel never met Ares when he was saving Hope the witches left Ares on the steps of the Mikelson compound. They only needed one for the sacrifice and they took Hope and so the others blamed Ares for that.

Right now Camille and Jackson are sitting in the compound with Ares. Their sitting on the floor with him trying to get him to speak. They we're only their because they had no choice to stay their so their there. "Ares say Cami." Cami said as he giggled.

"No no say Jackson." Jackson said getting his attention. "Mama." He said staring at Camille making her tear up. "Did he-Yes he did." He said cutting her off making her smile they both smiled. "Say it again Ares." Cami said as he gave her a smile.

"Dada." He said as they both cheered for him and picked him up. "My goodness your so cute." Cami said tickling him making him laugh. "What's with all the commotion." Klaus said as they walked into the living room as their smile faded.

"Who you holding Cami." Rebekah asked her. "Ares." She said. "Cami we told you to give him away why do you still have him." Hayley said as she rolled her eyes. "Because I love him and I'm not a cruel monster who just hands their kids off because I don't need them." She said before walking off to his room.

"Hayley Klaus I need you guys to sign something." Jackson said walking into another room as they followed. "What for." Klaus asked. "To legalize me and Cami being Hopes godparents that's all." He said as Hayley signed immediately Klaus hesitated to sign it but still did.

"Thank you I'll send these off as soon as possible." He said walking out and too Ares room which was spelled so nobody can hear in or out. "Did they sign." Cami asked as he nodded his head and she squealed. "He'll official be O'Connell Kenner  when we send these in." Jackson said grabbing her from him.

"Come on let's go tell the pack the good news." He said as he walked out with him as she grabbed his diaper bag. She walked down and they we're about to leave when they got stopped. "Mama dada." Ares said as they smiled at him. "Where are you two going." Klaus asked.

"Our to the bayou." Jackson said. "Oh I'll go with." Hayley said as Cami rolled her eyes. "Theirs no room in tue car sorry." She said giving her a fake smile. "Alright then have a nice day." She said as they walked off as Ares kept saying mama and dada.

"Was it me or was that baby talking." Kol said as they all looked at him. "Kol shut up." Rebekah said as they walked off except Hayley and Klaus. They stayed their thinking well actually knowing their son could talk. "He looks like you." Hayley said as he looked at her. "Yeah I know." He said walking out as she rolled her eyes and did the same.

From that day on they never spoken to Ares at all his entire life only when they needed something which gave him hope they would speak to him and want to build a relationship but his hope would only coming crumbling down and eventually he gave up.
