"Fuck off" I sigh and roll my eyes when I recognise the deep brown eyes as the car door opens "you know its about to start storming right?" He says while pulling out a smoke "and I'm supposed to care why?" I say standing and grabbing his smokes taking one "because it's Monday" he states while watching as I bring the smoke to my lips and grab my lighter from my purse "and that's important to me how?" He looks down into my eyes "really I need to spell it out for you on Mondays the busses come every 2 hours instead of 1 hour your gonna get soaked" my face drops.
"Fuck" I whisper under my breath but then I start to turn and walk away, if I start walking now I can make it home before the storm starts "were are you going love" he says grabbing my forearm "if I start walking now I should make it home before the storm" but then it happens thunder cracks and rain starts pouring
Before I have time to react Lorenzo is picking me up and putting me in the passenger side before rounding the car "what the hell are you doing" I protest "driving you home what's your address?" He says while starting the car reluctantly I tell him it not because I wanted to but because im terrified of storms and wanted to go home before he could see the effects
The drive was going good until the rain picked up and there was more and more thunder and lightning I was terrified not realising it I move my hand and grab his hand that's on the are rest and squeeze "woah princess you okay?" Concerns written all over his face when I look down and realise what I'm doing I pull my hand away "yes sorry" I say softly
I resort to bouncing my leg to try and calm my nerves this storm was a big one and all I can do is close my eyes and try to calm down.
Suddenly I feel a big hand make its way onto my upper thigh I snap my eyes open "what are you doing!?" I snap "relax love your okay" he says while staring into my eyes something about it reassures me and I relax into his touch letting him help me calm down
15 minutes later
"Is this the right one?" His voice soft but firm and I find comfort in it but then the loud sound of thunder snaps me out of the comfort and I gasp "yes thanks bye" I plaster on a fake smile even though I'm terrified to be alone right now, I take my time getting out not wanting to leave when I hear the car door open as he makes his way to open my door then follows me to the door
I try not to focus on his wet hair dripping and his black T so tight on his body and the way the water drips down the rough edges you can see through the shirt but it's impossible when she shakes his hair drying off when we reach my door under the paddio.
"Are you going to be okay?" His husky voice laced with concern snaps me out of my thoughts " I think so I just hate being alone during storms" I state while filling with my bracelet "you live alone?" He says sounded kinda shocked as I unlock my door "would you like me to stay I can sleep on the couch?" That gets my attention my eyes snap to his looking for any traces of him joking but I find none so despite not knowing how to answer I say...
"Yes please Lorenzo" in a soft voice
