As I was staring off into space in my third period Science class. Twirling the pencil in my hand, I kept thinking, of...him. What will he wear today? Will he be wearing that Calvin Klein perfume, that makes the whole room smell like heavens arena? Or will he smell like sweat, from volleyball practice? All of those questions kept lingering in my head like a mother's lalaby. Wait! What the hell is wrong with me!? Why am l thinking of my friend in such a way? Fillia pressed his lips, unconsciously clenching the pencil in his hand.

While the teacher was talking about the lesson about plant cells, that day still played visually clear in my head like a school fight everybody would gossip about repeatedly.

"Hey, sorry I'm late miss" as Sonic tumbled into the room. Tripping on his untucked soiled laces, causing a scene in period 1 math class. "Ughh! Sonic Lois just take your seat. It's bad enough your late half way through the lesson". The math teacher said with annoyence in her voice. I tried to hide my laugh but Sonic had sneered a weird looking funny face at me. "Late again?" I wisperd, with a smirk on my face. Trying to push one of Sonic's buttons.
" Just mind your own business." He chuckled angrily.
"Hey! Both of you, stop talking or you'll get detention after school!" The teacher yelled.

"Sorry." we both said simultaneously and gave each other a glance. He turned to face me, as my desk was behind his. "Hey" he wisperd. "Did you see that new action movie that came out recently?". His Mahogany eyes on mines. I replied "nah not yet". "Bummer". He lightly clicked his tongue and turned back around. I always felt something whenever I'm talking to Sonic. Something I can't explain.

As time went on in our first period math class, Sonic and I kept talking in class followed by loud laughs. Ms Williams finally lost her cool. "Detention at lunch! Both of you!" ...Fuck. We both said under our breaths.

"Ughh! Sonic this is all you fault. I snapped at him angrily. We were both sitting alone in our period one class. Except lunch had started 5 minutes ago. Sonic turned to me, "Tsk whatever, don't just blame me when you were the one talking too!". I glanced at him, refusing to meet his eyes. I had nothing to say. Sadly admitting it in my head. It was also my fault.

My eyes focused on Sonic. My eyes following his body, as he kept pacing the room like a child who got his you toy train taken away. He halted. Then turned to look at me.

"Do you want to play a game?". He smirked, with a hint of desire in his eyes.
