Armus POV:

During the training I used to lack motivation, I didn't quite expect for that motivation to just walk into my life, but it did. You see, every time after training, this boy used to walk in to give us refreshments for our hard work. Anyk says he is an old friend or something but, there is something intriguing about him. So I took the chance to talk to him a few weeks back, now they come and talk to me after every training session. That's my motivation, that's what I was needing. Though today was special, I saw by the way they walked in through the gates of the castle. He was carrying many crates full of water so it must have been heavy, though they moved faster than usual. I saw them struggle so I decided to let myself quit early and help him out. When I walked to him, I saw his short legs struggling to hold themselves up, I placed my hand under the crates, just close enough to his hand so he would know I'm here to help. Their face peeped over the edge of the tall crates, showing me a fond eye smile in return for my thoughtfulness. I felt them release his weight into my hands, walking over to my side to guide me to the right place right away. When I felt how heavy it really was, I was impressed. I mean, for me it wasn't heavy at all but for such a small thing like himself, it must've been a task. I put the heavy weight down and gave the smaller elf a slight smile. "Hi Saint" I say chuckling. I earned a nod in return. "im glad to have run into you" he started, his accent filling the quiet room. "i saw you training today, you put on quite the show." I smiled. "You watched me train?" I saw the boy look at me shocked, "nonono! Uh- I mean, no I was just passing by I wasn't staring or anything I just passed by truly-" I felt a smile form in the corner of my mouth when I saw them trying to defend themselves. I nod in agreement when he stops, letting him know it's okay. "anyway," they started again. "i thought you'd deserve a break! Why don't you join me at my home after you get yourself cleaned up?" he said, throwing me a towel he was carrying with him.

I walk closer to him in attempt to whisper something, but I saw them tense up just slightly as I leaned closer. "anyk would never let me exit these halls before I finish, let alone go to her friend's house." as I said that I saw him relax again. "ill cover for you, trust me, she won't know a thing....please?" I saw their gaze on me when I stood back again, no man could say no to that. "fine, ill meet you outside in a few." I saw his ears perk up in excitement. He gave me a wide smile and gave me a small bow before walking towards anyk, who was talking to another. I catch myself smiling before I look at the towel in my hand....did they bring this just for me?

It was now a little later, I had freshened up and me and saint were now walking towards his house. I had never seen their house before, so I couldn't help but let curiosity roam around my body. The walk there consisted of small talk and more questions about the other. Even though we have been getting to know each other for weeks already, there was still so much curiosity about each other. "you're kidding! that's hilarious!" saint said in between giggles. "really! So I guess that's why anyk doesn't trust me around the swords alone anym-" my sentence was cut off my the view of a cute little cabin somewhere in the woods. It was so cute, just cozy and very green. Saint walked to the door. "yeah, I know, it isn't much but its home." they said, just as gleeful as always. They lead me into the door as I was greeted by the scent that belonged to Saint, I was hypnotized by it for a moment. "how about a cup of tea?" saint smiled, showing off his dimples. I nod at him, he started right away which gave me the opportunity to look around. Looking at the interior the only thing I could think about was how much it was like him, it was cute and cozy, while there were plants in all the window Paynes. I smile at the flowers around the house, it was cute. My thoughts were interrupted by a small kid running towards us. Saint heard the footsteps and looked to see what was going on. The kid ran towards Saint right away and jumped in their arms, causing saint to grunt slightly. "careful kid, you're not that small anymore, you could get hurt." saint smiled at the boy. I walk towards the two to take a good look at the boy. "who is this?" the boy asked saint, which made saint smile. "this is a friend of mine from the castle, Armus. Armus, this is Blue." I smile politely at blue, "nice to meet you blue" he nods. "actually, im kind of in a rush to get armus back to the castle soon, do you think you can go play somewhere?" saint asked blue, earning another nod from the shy boy. Saint smiled and placed a kiss on his cheek before putting him down on the ground. Blue ran away as quick as light to another room further down the hall. "you're a father?" I ask immediately, there was a lot I was prepared to see but saint's son was not one of them. "brother, Im his legal guardian." he handed me a cup of freshly brewed tea before we made our way to the fireplace. We had a fun time, getting to know eachother and talking about everything and nothing at all. It was like we've known each other for years, we were just open books and I genuinely enjoyed my time. Eventually saint mentioned a garden he was proud of. I, of course, wanted to see what that was about, so he guided me to the garden. It was adorable, there were fruits and flowers everywhere, all the colors were so like them. We walk through and he tells me about what im seeing. Eventually, saint stops. I look back when I noticed he wasn't next to me anymore. Saint crouched down to his knees and hinted at me to sit down with him. I had no doubt and went to them immediately. We were sitting infront of this insanely beautiful flower, it was blue, with a mix of gold and just a splash of pink. I look at saint and then back to the flower, "woah, that's beautiful" I say.

"this is a flower I once got from a witch in town, she said it stood for trust and luck for eternal love" he looked at me for just a couple seconds after he said that, I swear I could feel something in my stomach, maybe it was the way they said it. I clear my throat before coming back to my senses.

"well, has it worked?" I ask, they looked at me again,

"i believe so, yes."

In that moment, there was nowhere I would have rather been. His feminine features on full display every glance I took, his eyes sparkeling, his nose slightly red from the cold wind. It was just so....pretty.
