The Date Part 2

Sorry for not doing my usual idea between story guys, since I update one, I then focus on updating another, but my other story is getting to a point I wanted so I decided to put a little more time in that so I could just balance things...
School today till Thursday is not helping me guys, so I will be slower on some updates, but I promise to try and improve and I will publish Jaeger Academy (Rewrite) for those who want to see it, and I will continue on some stories I had put a halt to, like Survival Home, and Invasion: Fight for Our Lives, and I am working on the drawings, but the one I'm on, I''m kinda stuck, making postures are a pain in the chassis, if anyone can understand it...

(Eden's P.O.V.)

It was midnight by now, I was on my bed with Hydra sleeping beside me, just laying over me...
I couldn't sleep, I wanted to get up, but I didn't want to wake Hydra up, fortunately I forgot that she moves back and forth when she sleeps, and so I took advantage of it and got out of bed, and into the building...
"I'm so used to my home being loud during the day, I had forgotten what it was to be in the quiet, I walked to the drop-off and just stared out in the night sky...
"Looking at the stars Eden?"
I looked behind to see my dad awake and walking towards me...
"Dad?"
"Yeah?"
"Why do you guys don't trust me?"
"I know where this is going, and it's not about trust, it's about understanding..."
"What do you mean?"
" *sigh* Eden, you don't know this, but when you were born, you were always trying to do something, even when you were 3 years old you tried to do so many things ahead of what was expected of you, *chuckle* which reminds me of a pretty good memory, you were 4 at the time and you were put on the floor for a second, and you picked up a worker and just hugged him, even due to your size compared to the worker, you tried to be kind, but the worker got scared so bad that he fainted, everyone thought you killed him, till an hour later they realized what really happen, they wanted to apologize but you became too scared that what you did would happen again... and so-"
"I hid under my bed and didn't want to come out..."
"You remember it?"
"Yeah, it was something that made me very... vulnerable, I never meant any harm, yet I scared someone out of joy, after that day I minimized my contact with the workers because I didn't want to hurt them again..."
"And that brings to my point, we trust you to know right from wrong, but what you lack, is understanding..."
"But it did happen"
"And you say Maurice is behind it?"
"Yes..."
"Again goes to understanding, Eden, if he is the 'mastermind' behind everything, what will having you benefit him?"
"A bodyguard, a weapon for chaos, robbery, power, inflicting fear, destruction, do you want me to keep increasing this list?"
"Point taken, but despite all of that, it can be a mistake, Eden, I know you want to prove right and do good, but just taking your word for it, is not concrete, you need evidence you can show, okay?"
"Great... you don't- wait a second, did you just give me a tip if I do find what I need?"
"Did I now? Go sleep son, I think you need your energy for tomorrow..."
"Alright, night dad..."
I saw my dad take a turn on the corner and go to his room, and so I continued my way to my room, when I get there, I see a awake Hydra...
"Why did you leave?"
"Just to get some fresh air..."
"What, you sick of me?"
"No, I-"
"Can I sleep now?"
"You can go back to sleep..."
"You cheater..."
"Huh?"
" *Zzz* "
"Just like Sophia... I think..."
I looked at her one last time before she was again sleeping on me, I later fell asleep while hugging her...

*Next morning*

I woke up in a relatively good mood, Hydra is sleepy just like her pilot, and so I pick her up bridal style and carry her to the dining area, I lay her against a wall and wait for her pilots, I see her Andrew and Sophia arrive, except Sophia is her same sleepy self, till Andrew saw what I was trying to do he knew it...
"Trying to wake her up?"
"Yes, and why are you always carrying her?"
"She gets super sleepy in many places, it's not bad it's because how she works so hard, Hydra must have picked up her sleepiness from the drift, and that is funny because she has the same habit as Sophy..."
"Did she get this from drifting with her?"
"Pretty much, that is how habits are usually 'spread'..."
"Question, does Sophia stay half awake, half asleep at times and just spew some weird stuff?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Hydra did it yesterday, I went to talk to my dad, but then when I came back she asked where I went and then called me a cheater, while being half asleep..."
"She did that? Aww our fluffy metal ball is growing up so fast..."
I just stood there while Andrew looked at Hydra like a proud father...
"Is there something I'm missing in this?"
"Oh right, you don't know, we quote, un-quote, "adopted" her..."
"So... she's like... what your... titanic, mechanical, monster slaying child?"
"Yeah, that actually sums it up..."
"Huh..."
As we finished discussing, the two started to stir, and wake up, till they saw each other they were quiet when they saw each other Hydra didn't try to get up she just stay sat on the floor looking at her pilot and when she said "Hydra, Honey!" And went to hug her...
"Sophy-"
"Nah-ah-ah, what did we discuss?"
"Not infront of Eden..."
"If you are talking about the fact that they 'adopted' you then I'm aware..."
"HOW?!"
"him."
I pointed towards Andrew...
"You're dead to me..." Hydra said emotionless...
"Now-now, what did we talk about that language..." Sophia asked...
" *blushes* 'No use of that language near you guys...' "
"Right, so what do you say?"
" ... "
"Hydra? Don't make me start treating you like a 5 year old child..."
"Fine... I'm sorry..."
"Aww, thanks fluff ball..." Andrew said while hugging her leg, to the best of his ability that is...
Then I noticed Hydra looking at me just staring at the three of them...
"What?" Hydra asked...
"Nothing, I'm just in awe how much what Andrew said is literal..." I replied...
"Oh sush, let's just go..."
" *chuckle* okay..."
"Be careful fluff ball!" Andrew yelled from the room where we were...
"Stop pestering me!" Hydra yelled back...
"They grow up so fast..." We heard Sophia talk to Andrew...
" *Annoyed groan* "
As we left the Mess Hall I could see very clear that Hydra was way more than embarrassed for what happen, I think she didn't want me to know about it...
I see that she was uneasy because of it, and so I put an arm around her, she understood what I meant and we just walked to the drop-off to go to our date...
"Are you sure where you picked is good for you? And that your 'parents' won't find us?" I asked...
"Yeah, I know they won't find us there, besides, I know you will like. . ."
"If you're sure, then I'm in."
". . ."
"Hey, you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm just worried that you might not like the place I picked..."
"Hey, stop talking nonsense, you know I love you no matter what."
"Right... Anyway, we're ready to go?"
"Always..."
"Alright..."
The choppers hooked both of us up and took us to our little date, I just hope I don't mess this up...
