Epic Victory

Sam has lived in this grand old, yet new house since she was 10 years old. Ever sins she moved in, she and her family have had so many weird abnormal visitors, except for her immediate family members of course, they were normal... well as normal as a human can be. She is now 21 years old living with her brothers, sister, mom and dad, helping out with the family business. One day during dinner her parents announced that their grandparents from the royal side of the family are coming for a visit next week, which meant get ready for the Queens arrival and make the place look royal and expensive.

They only had 4 days to get the place ready for their royal visitors. Sam was assigned to wait at the doors to great them when they arrived and so she did. Standing there for half of the day, her parents got her up at the crack of dawn to get ready for their arrival. It didn't take them to long to get to the house, but lots of other guests had arrived before them. Sam tried to tell her parents that they should close for the week but they said "the house is big enough they will not bump into each other." 

So she just kept taking all of the guests to the movie room and had the receptionist keep an eye on them. 

When her grandparents came, boy did you know they were here. There were tons of other relatives, secret service and body guard people around, it was hard to get them through the door because they came in such a large group and didn't want to move threes or single file, I mean the doors are big but not that big. Finally she got most of them through the door and got to see her grandmother 

"Hi Grandma how are you? It has been too long. How was your trip over here?" 

"Hello Sammy I am fine, you are right it has been to long..." she gave me a respectable once over," I am surprised you still recognized me." 

"How could I forget you?" 

We laughed, hugged and then she led her and her entourage through the house to great the rest of the family. After they were settled Sam went off in search for her friend Veronique who had come over earlier. Sam went and searched for her friend, going up and down the stairs trough the whole building to find out where her friend was, asking around as she went. Down stairs she came across her grandmother sitting alone in a family room drinking tea. 

"Hi grandma what are you doing here?" 

"I am enjoying my tea granddaughter" 

"Oh I see" 

"would you like to join me?" 

"Oh no I can't I am looking for my friend Maybe later" 

"Your friend is here that's wonderful I hope you two enjoy your selves" 

"Thank you Grandma I will make sure we do" 

"Good" she smile up at me and took a drink of tea. 

"Are you alone? Where are your guards?" 

"For now, they have just run to the kitchen to make me some more tea" 

She showed me her cup that was mostly empty, it probably only had one sip left. 

"Oh I see, well you should be careful there are commoners here and I don't trust them at all" 

"Thank you for caring I will be sure to watch my back. You go on and see your friend now I will be alright" 

Sam turned and left waving to her grandmother as she did so and not too far down the hall came her guards with her tea. She circled heading back up the stairs to talk to the Secretary you Miss Yuna-Mode was very good at keeping tabs on people.
