Talking To The Snow (Gonkillu story)

Part 1 - A Snowy Night Alone Or Together?

(I don't have much experience with Gonkillu but I'm trying, I hope you enjoy-)

(Ages: Kurapika: 20, Leorio: 21, Killua: 15, Gon: 16)

(Killua's pov)

Snow... What a wonderful thing. White pieces of individual ice crystals sparkling as they descend down the the white, snowy ground.

Looking out the window I watch the snow lowering down to the ground under it. Such a calm moment. Today is the day before Christmas and even though I may not show it I'm excited. For years I've spent Christmas alone. 'Maybe this is the year?' I thought as I stood up to go get a scarf and coat that will protect me from this everlasting cold of the winter. My hair, fluffy and as white as the snow, Shines like my blue ocean eyes.

I heard a notification on my phone from my best friend, his name is Gon. Lately I have been having these weird feelings about him, I don't know what they are about so I'll ask my friend, or mother figure, Kurapika. I pick up the phone and look at the text message. "Good morning Killua! Did you see the snow? I can't wait to go snowboarding and ice skating!" it said and I giggled. That's my best friend for you. "Baka, stop thinking about it and just get over here already." I reply, a cat face. A minute later I get a reply. "I'll get Leorio and Kurapika too!" 'Well I guess that means I won't have to track down Kurapika' I thought, putting the phone down and going to the kitchen to grab some chocolate Robots.

(One hour later, time skip brought to you by Gon's picture collection of Killua-)

I hearing a light knock on the door, I rush and open it. "Hi Killua!" Gon said, smiling. Leorio and Kurapika stand behind him. "Hello" They both say. Gon giggles and grabs my arm. "Let's go ice skating!" He shouted, dragging me and jumping in the snow, pulling me in too. "Ah- baka!" I said, trying to hold back laughter as Gon starts making himself a snow merman. "I'm king of the sea and snow!" Gon shouts, still as childish as ever. I laughed and Gon smiled.

Gon stood up brushing the snow off of him and reached his hand out to me. I blushed and took it as he pulled me up our faces so close together as I blushed intensely. "Your really pretty Killua!" The green and black haired boy said out of nowhere. My face got a even brighter red, I looked away. "Shut up Baka, that's embarrassing!" "But it's true, you really are pretty!" He replied, smiling that bright smile of his. Embarrassed, I looked at the ground.

He lifted my chin and smiled. "Don't hide your face Killua!" Gon said and I backed up due to how close our faces are. I tripped, falling down on the ground in the snow, taking Gon down with me. Our noses touch as both of us turn bright red. "Get up so we can get going love birds!" Kurapika said, giggling. "We aren't love birds!" I reply, blushing and pushing Gon off of me. Gon gets up and grabs my hand, carefully pulling me up. We all get in Leorio's car and start to drive to the ice skating rank.

(Once they get to the ice skating rank, time skip by Killua's chocolate Robot collection)

Leorio stops the car in front of the ice skating rank. I step out of the warm car into the cold air making the ends of my ears, fingers and nose turn red. I had forgotten my gloves. Kurapika, Leorio and Gon get out of the car and Gon notices I'm cold. "Hey Killua, are you okay?" Gon asks. I look up and meet his mesmerizing eyes. "I-I'm fine..." I stutter, looking at the light in front of me. He walks toward me and grabs my hands lifting them up. "You don't look fine... Here take my gloves. He slipped off his gloves and put them on my hands. I blushed, feeling his warmth. "You worry about me too much!" I spoke, turning away, half to hide the pink dots that had looked like they were sprinkled on my cheeks. 'What's wrong with me?' I thought, confused.

"You guys move about as fast as a turtle! It's freezing out here!" Leorio said, ruining the moment. "Shut up old man!" I replied, walking to the ice rank, dragging Gon with me. Gon laughed as I sat on the bench with him. I puffed out my cheeks at him. "Shut up baka." I said, embarrassed. Mamapika handed us our ice skates and we put them on.

I got up, helping Gon up too. Gon's a bit clumsy on ice skates until he gets on the ice, it's kinda funny to me. I have been ice skating for years, it's actually really nice and calm for me. I step on the ice and help Gon on and as I said he immediately gains balance. Kurapika and Leorio follow after and immediately take off around the rank. I look at Gon and Gon just smiles at me. "Let's go too!" Gon shouts, starting to ice skate. I follow him as he pulls me closer to him. "Killua, I wanna do something!" Gon says, looking at me as he stops skating. I stop too and look at him. "What is it?" I ask. "I saw a ice skating dancer spin the other one, can I try that with you?" He asks and I get that weird feeling again. 'What is this feeling?' I wondered, pink sprinkled on my cheeks like sprinkles on a cupcake. "Sure." I answered, taking Gon's hand.

Kioko: CLIFFHANGER!!! This is my first holiday fanfiction! What do you think of it so far? I hope it made all of you happy.

Killua: *hits Kioko in the back of the head* And when I would finally get to dance with him. >:(  *Angry cat face*

Kioko: Hehe :3

Gon: Killua, your so adorable!

Killua: *Turns bright red* Shut up Baka!
