But (Y/N) could only say that because she had been staying up past midnight.

Unable to sleep from the images in her camera that spooked her.

Glancing to the foot of her bed, she could see her cat resting soundly, more comfortable in its sleep than (Y/N) ever will be.

That must be what they mean by "ignorance is bliss".

Only those who don't understand a thing would be able to keep positive.

"Ahh...That also means I shouldn't burden others with my worries, right? I'll end up ruining their mood too..." She sighed.

"Maybe it just a little thing that he did. Maybe he somehow knew every time I took a picture and wanted to...photo bomb it...?"

Optimism is key!

...Right?

"I'll have to go face the man himself, by myself, then!"

When the sun rises, it's time for you to rise.

"Dodo, stay put. I'm gonna go out and get some groceries for us, okay? When I come back, you'll get that treat I promised!" (Y/N) softly petted her cat's head.

In reality, that's just an excuse to go outside and hopefully find Albedo.

"Meow ~ !"

"Remember, if anyone rings the doorbell, do not approach it, okay? I always have the keys with me."

Dodo simply stared at (Y/N) with big, adorable, glassy eyes.

"I'm off! Don't cause trouble!"

Sprinting outside her door with lively steps, she locked the doors, and went off.

"Big Brother Albedo? Where are you off to?" Klee stepped out of her room, to see her brother preparing to leave the apartment.

"The Science Club needs me to get a few materials for an exhibition next week. I'll just be going to the supermarket." Albedo answered.

Was this an excuse for anything...? Well, only fate can tell.

"Please don't go inside my room, and be a good child. I trust you can do that until I come back, right?"

"But...I'll feel lonely..." Klee said, "Mama isn't here to keep Klee company, and you have to go out..."

The environment that Klee has to grow up in is a sad one indeed.

With a mother who left to go somewhere and hasn't come back yet...

And an adopted brother who rarely has time to spend with her.

Suddenly, the blonde child's eyes light up in excitement.

"Can...Can Klee come to the supermarket with you?"

With her eyes that glistened with child innocence, Albedo couldn't seem to reject her.

Even though Albedo himself doesn't quite grasp the concept of loneliness, because all his life...

He has been lonely ever since. He has grown numb to it.

But he could still understand Klee.

Eventually, someone that you enjoy the company of most will...disappear.

They'll be gone without a trace, the only thing left of them will be memories.

"Fine. You can come along, as long as you don't let go of my hand." Albedo said, with a smile on his face.

Because they will eventually disappear from your life, you should cherish every moment with them the most you can.

That way, there won't be any regrets...

...Unlike he did with his creator.

"Yay! Can I bring Dodoco with me too?" Klee's name might as well be changed to 'Glee', with the joy she had on her face.

Albedo nodded, "Yes, as long as you're sure you won't lose it."

"Don't worry, even of Dodoco did get lost, a nice Miss will find it for me!" Klee grinned.

Hand in hand, the two siblings left the house together.

Sometimes, the most outgoing people are the loneliest.

Sometimes, the most reserved people are the ones with the most company with them.

When people's lives can be kept balanced like that, when the loneliest people can find joy in anything...

When the quietest people will always have someone to talk to them...

...I envy that a little bit.

Just a little bit.
