It had been a few weeks since N and Uzi found me in my pod. N has grown close to me, I've noticed. He's been wanting to stay around me more, taking me with him while hunting, wanting me to keep sleeping in his bed, its been blatantly obvious to me. I couldn't deny that I was also growing attached to him as well. He's super nice but can turn instantly when needed. When he's in combat, its terrifying but I like it. The only issue is his self esteem. He constantly looks down on himself and it's been hard to get him out of that habit.
"Hey Z?"
My thoughts were interrupted.
"Hmm?" I groaned, sitting up in the bed.
"You alright? You've been spacing out a lot lately." N asked, concern dripping from his voice.
"I'm just thinking about... stuff."
"What kind of stuff"
"... How you've been acting. Its nothing bad, but I've just been thinking about it all." I said hesitantly.
"H-how have I been acting?" he questioned.
"Well, to put it bluntly... Like you have a massive crush on me." I looked over at him, his face glowing yellow from blush.
"I-I uh..."
"N it's alright if you like me, you can just say it outright if you do." I hoped to encourage him to speak his mind to me.
"Well..." N hesitated, "I do k-kinda have a crush on you..."
His face glew brighter.
"Knew it." I said as I got up from the bed. I walked over to him and pulled him into a hug. I could tell he was startled but soon he relaxed into the hug. We stood there for a while, just enjoying each others warmth.
"This is nice." he said.
"Yeah... Yeah it is."
