HEROES OF OLYMPUS ONE-SHOTS

An important talk

Leo was walking from bunker 9, one afternoon. He was hungry and wanted a shower. His frustration was at its peak because designing a weapon for the aries cabin was as much a pain as the kids themselves.

By now he was at the showers with his clean clothes and was waiting for the hot water. He started thinking about how Calypso was adjusting to the camp. She got a job in the infirmary and was in charge of supplies.

He was trying to scrub the gunk off his hands which of course was a slow process. The water felt nice and all he could see on the floor was black from all of the filth on him. The water was just getting cooler when he was entirely clean. He stepped out with a towel and dried off before putting on his NEW fire proof clothes. He needed to be careful because if he ruined these Calypso would kill him.

He put his shoes on (which were the only dirty things he was wearing) and started off for lunch. His stomach sounded like an angry Chewbacca. When he got to the pavilion he saw Jason and Piper sitting at an empty table looking serious. He walked over with his plate full of tamales and a glass of Fanta. Piper was covered in ashes and her clothes were a little burnt.

"I can't BELIEVE Drew pushed me off! At least she has dish duty." Piper looked furious.

"But you did make it second over all. Its also a plus that you look amazing even when you are covered in ashes." Jason smiled and took a bite of his pizza.

Leo was grinning and his lunch. These two were the best and the closest friends he had besides the others.

"So Beauty Queen what do you have next."

"I have agility practice next." Piper grinned. She had a reputation of beating everyone.

"Lucky I have Greek tutoring." Leo was slow in Greek because his brain was better at mechanics.

"So when do you go back to Camp Jupiter Jason?" Piper asked.

"I go back next Saturday. I need to see how the alters are going for the gods. It seems to be going well here. Chiron says that on the summer solstice we might be having a festival for the camps. Jupiter and Half-blood will have games together and tons of parties." Jason grins. He thinks this will bring the camps even closer.

"Parties!!! Now THAT is a good idea!" Leo starts dancing in his seat.

"Calm down repair boy its still winter." Piper laughs.

"Well it looks like my time has run out. I gotta get to practice." Piper gets up and leaves running to the trees.
