Maddie answers her call and tells her everything

M: WHY'D IT TAKE U SO LONG TO ANSWER ME

P: I was ... doing the dishes

She says while stuttering

M: sure u were

They both laugh

P: anyways what is it that u need to tell me?

M: I met .. a cute guy!

P: WHAT OMG SHOW ME

M: sent!

P: NO WAY U PULLED THAT OFF.

M: I sure did

P: tips?

She says sarcastically

P: I swear I'm gonna stay single for the rest of my life. I mean look at me. I live with my mom, I'm 22 years old AND NO BOYFRIEND

M: oh come on there's people out there in their 30's living with their mom. I mean there's nothing wrong with that, besides you've got that guy..uh what is it?

She says while snapping her fingers trying to think of his name

M: Brice?

P: it's Brent. And no he's not into me😂 you full think I'm gonna be with a hot guy

M: look at you girl ur everything a man wants in a relationship

She says jokingly

M: I'm serious like come on dude he's hot. Ur hot

Pierson blushes at the thought of them two together

P: forget that. Why don't u come with me to a family dinners night tomorrow

M: oh awesome! Who's family are we going to?

P: not sure..I guess we're gonna find out

M: yay food

P: omg the thought of food rn. Hold up

She grabs takis and a drink

M: pass me some

P: yeah sure

She sarcastically puts the takis to her phone

P: anyways talk to u tomorrow once we're abt to leave

M: alright. Bye!

P: bye!!

She ends the call with a big sigh

P: well atleast maddies coming with me to the stupid dinner

She places her phone under her pillow and falls asleep

In the morning pierson gets up brushes her teeth and does her morning routine. She gives her mom a hug and greets her a good morning

P: goodmorning mom

She says while smiling

PM: morning sweety

P: I'm gonna head over to maddies place I'll be back by 2pm

PM: okay don't take too long remember we have a dinner at 6pm

P: oh yeah I forgot

She sighs and heads over to maddies house

Maddie hears a knock on the door and opens it to find Pierson standing there in a grumpy mood
