You are my work

We have been friends since the beginning of time,

We always had each others back.

Since we didnt know how to rhyme,

In classes we would always be paired.

Always be laughing,

We always shared.

But through time we drifted away,

Far from each other,

So we decided to stay.

We are not one any more.

We are seprate people,

Not that close I see.

I dont think this will be able,

To work so far;

Yet not far enough,

Our friendship turned into star dust.

And when we did have contact with each other.

It was becuase we had friends that we were friends with,

Not the fact that we enjoyed it.

Wehen we did start hanging out we would always fight.

Argue, bicker whatever was right;

We never say eye to eye again.

Until that day we said to work with eachother,

We worked side to side,

Managed to keep quite for what was right,

I then knew what was wrong.

It was just the fact that we don't get along,

So i tried to keep my distance.

Tried to stay away.

For what was right,

Would be ours someday,

You are my work,

And only that.
