Before you start reading there are a few things you should know;

1. This is my first book so it can be cringy and the grammar is not always correct.

2. There will be MATURE scenes, also this book contains heavy themes such as: ABUSE, VIOLENCE & HEAVY LANGUAGE If you're sensitive to any of these things please DO NOT continue.

3. The man lead is a part of the MAFIA, don't expect him to always be nice.

4. The first few chapters can be cringe or badly written (I literally can't bring myself to read it) but it will get better throughout the book!

5. This story has all rights reserved, I will not accept other people copying my work, any similarities this book has with other books is coincidental.

6. Rr, Don't ruin the fun by spoiling the plot for others. The spoilers most likely will get deleted.

7. So much smut. Don't read this book of you hate too much smut cause if I needed to explain this book in one word it would be smut.

8. Adding this since some people seem to be blind. Again, this was my first book. The writing can suck, no one can be a professional immediately. The second book is so worth it tho (the devil of innocence), so just survive this book and then you can read the heavenly writing of book 2 <3

"Maeve Nystrom hm?" His brows were slightly furrowed, and the way he pronounced my name made me shiver because his eyes are genuinely quite stunning. At my own thoughts, I nearly chuckle.

I couldn't read his emotions, he looks almost like he's numb, "You don't act like a Nystrom." Okay, that is not a compliment.

Is it the fact that I have never killed? Or is it just that I'm not emotionless like the others?

I scoff, "So? I don't care what you think I look like." Even if my words aren't very polite, I grin sweetly. I suppose he's not a very happy person either?

I can tell he's astonished by the expression on his face, but why would he be shocked? Oh, did his murderous ego find me too rude?
