The Love Song

It was february 14 1973 people were giving love,exchanging cards,and getting into love booths.Meanwhile there was a boy named Toby Heffley he was so in love with this girl.She was the most popular girl in school she was the captain of the cheerleader team.Toby had like a month writing a song for her so he will sing it to her while they were in there recess.But then Toby frightened so bad because he thought everybody would laugh about a nobody who is in the bleachers singing a love song to the most popular girl in the whole school, he thought that maybe she woulnt like the song.He tried many ways to give the song to her like ,written in a paper with an odor of cheap perfume, maybe by a page in the anuary or tell his friend Gary Colson from the school newspaper to publish the song dedicated for the girl.Later that same day he told the girl Amanda Sinclair, to be his girlfriend in front of all the people in the half time of the February 14 student teacher football game.Everybody kept their mouth shut waiting till Amanda will answer...seconds of pause and drama passed while Amanda stayed in shock waiting for the decision to come by her brain.Toby dropped the first tear as she nodded saying...sorry Toby but im not interested.Amanda went off.As Toby got a serious depression.Months later he died of the broken heart.Two weeks later Toby's friend Gary gave the love song to Amanda at Toby's funeral. She went to her house read the song went into her tub,drugged herself and waited patiently until she died.~
