Oblivion
Dillon:
I sat docile beside Dorian's former toy, staring quietly out the window, twisting the bottom of the preppy grey sweater my brother had been wearing, nibbling my lip every so often for good measure, not the Vince was looking constantly, but if he glanced my way, I didn't want to risk looking like myself. He sighed as we came to a red light. "Dorian, are you going to sit and squirm the whole way, or are you gonna tell me what's bugging you?"
So he WAS watching! "It's nothing, just..." I wiggled again in that stupid way Dorian always does when he doesn't want to admit something, like that time he came clean about having snuck off to a party in the tenth grade with the rest of the basketball team, it ate him up for two days before he confessed it to our parents. Stupid Dorian, they hadn't even ask if he went or suspected a thing, he just felt 'guilty' and spilled his guts over breakfast, and the fu¢ked up thing about it? I got in trouble for not telling them I'd gone too! Just because they asked and I'd said no then some jackass had posted a picture of both of us there and all the sudden I'm in way deeper shit than Dorian.
"Come on, bro, out with it." Vince pressed, pulling me from the infuriating memory.
"Bad memories..." I murmured quietly, studying my fingers before balling them up in my sweater, fear driven adrenaline rushing through me. Damnit!!! A flaw, one tiny detail not just right....would one of them notice?
"Hey, come on, none of that..this school is different, no one is gonna pick on you." I nearly rolled my eyes at the idiot, but knew Dorian just wasn't like that. He reached over, gently taking my hand, making me tense up. "Hey, what's really got you so worked up? You've never tensed up when I touched you...is it...? Dillon?"
I gasp, throwing a panicked look at him--shit! Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit! Vince hugged me tightly. "He can't get you here, Dorian, none of us will let him near you or Rafe, we'll make sure of it--dad will find him and we'll all go to that college just like we planned I swear it." I trembled and nodded, fighting the urge to punch him in the face, between touching me, bad mouthing me and saying I wasn't having what was rightfully mine, he's pissed me off, but this was the kinda white knight shit Dorian was obviously into.
I thought of the pansiest thing to say and sniffled. "And we'll plant a garden?"
Vince pulled back and gave me a curious look, "Another one?" I nodded thinking quickly.
"One for flowers one for spices." I murmured, really laying on the cutesy simpering.
He chucked and ruffled my hair, relaxing. "Two gardens it is then."
I smiled, nailed it. Vince drove the rest of the way in silence except when Dorian's boyfriend called asking where we were, finally we pulled up to the prep school and before we even parked, Alex had me out of the car spinning me in circles, kissing me senseless, the restraint I had to use to not knock this a-hole into next week could've moved mountains. I giggled in that stupid way Dorian does, kissing him back.
"It's been AGES!" Alex moaned, pressing me harshly against the car with his hips.
"It's been two days." Vince corrected.
I nodded along, not really sure, I'd watched them in the caffe about two days ago, and hadn't seen them together sense then. Alex pressed into me harder, nibbling on my throat, I swear if this guy didn't back off, I was gonna puke. I playfully shoved him off. "Alex!" I whined, "you DO know we're at school, right?"
He pressed back against me, making me wonder how far he'd gotten with Dorian, had they done it? Had Dorian let him touch him where all I had touched him? The questions made me boil with anger. Dorian belongs to me and no one else! Him and that perfect blonde angel approaching us. "Public make outs have never bothered you before..." Alex purred biting my lip seductively. If he weren't so forceful I may have been tempted to add him to my collection, he fit the bill in every other way, pretty, a slut and the same brand of perfection as Dorian. Plus, it would destroy my brother. With that last thought in mind, I kissed him back for all I was worth, really getting into it.
