Hazrat Nizammudin railway station, one of the largest connect all the major cities, over eight platforms and 13 tracks, its named on the famous Sufi saint Hazrat... Over three lakh sixty thousand persons travelled in a day. It's situated in the south zone of Delhi comes under the north region of the Indian railway.
The train journey is one of the best and joyous journeys anyone can ever have, the interactions with random people listening to their stories, the cries of child's, the laugh of teenagers, the political debates of old people, sharing of food with each other, the different types of food vendors on every stop or station with the speciality of the region and a fair ride for middle-class people who couldn't afford expensively transportation. Making of memories where you met different people of different religions, States, thoughts, like all you can say " a mini India"An alarm buzzed numerous times trying to wake up the soul sleeping peacefully on the bed, her phone rang five times but do you think it's affecting her a big no last night after fighting with her mom she drank and their was no one who asked about her, who checked on her, we people often things that rich people enjoy the life but not everyone, the status, the look, the way of talking, the friend circle all should be according to their status. She has no such best friends of her so-called status which she enjoyed but also make her feel very low, sometimes out of the place, she sometimes thinks she doesn't belong here this seems so fake to her.
The alarm again rang and this time she finally wake up from her sleep, the headache at its best, the room is messed her all clothes spread on the floor of the room, the two bags were left open without any clothes in them." hello" she said in a sleepy voice, pressing her forehead with one hand.
" speak slowly yaar" she requested.
" yaa sure madame anything else you would like to order" jiya asked sarcastically.
" I think I need a tablet for my hangover"
" wow great just great 7 baj rhe hai mein subah 6 bje se tera call try kr rhi hu but you were sleeping peacefully just totally amazing my child"" oh shit, I am so sorry I will be there at time promise" she speaks in a hurry pushing away her blanket switching off. Throwing her clothes, accessories, shoes, heels on the bags.
She came out from the washroom after 10 minutes wearing jeans and a crop top " ready car me ho jaungi" she thinks In herself making her way out of the room with two trolley bags and one shoulder bag.
" driver uncle aap mujhe please railway station chor denge"
" baby aap railway station kyu?" he questioned shocked was clearly seen on his face no member of the Shergill family ever go.
" ohho kaka chliye na ky sochte hai aap, I know aap shocked hai par me late ho rhi hu" she requested, Rajesh kaka was working for them since she was a kid and with time she developed a good relationship with him, sometimes a chae date with him on the nukkads of Delhi or talking about his family from there she gets to knew what family really means. The voices of auto-rickshaw drivers mingled with each other, the vendors on both sides of the road calling for customers, thousands of people making their way in a hurry to catch the train, some baggers bagging she watched all her surrounding from the car window the lump formed in her throat she gave a second and quick thought to go on a trip "I mean by air bhi to jaa skte hai" but she wants to prove her fiance...ex-fiance that she can do this.
A horn sound comes from behind with some sweet words " abuses" to move the vehicle.
" aage car nh jayegi beta, yahi utarna Hoga" kaka informed her.
" hmm thank you kaka" she whispered unsurely.
"Shit why I have to get two bags ab Kaise ky Hoga," she thinks gazing at her stuff lying on the dirty floor the packets of snacks, used cigarettes.
" kha fass gayi beta Tu" she whinned calling jiya.
" I am here outside the railway station, where I have to come" she asked.
" oh amazing you have to come on platform no. 2"
" okay"
" off yahan se Kahan and how I should take my bags by myself on these stairs.
" oh madam side hato na humko jaane do kabse yahi khadi ho" a voice came from behind.
" why I have to choose these things...why God"
She somehow after a lot of struggle reached the station and found jiya their looking for her.
"At least you should pick your phone" she taunted hugging her, "let's come now the train will depart in five minutes," she said directing coolie which sana found thankfully.
She stands there blank, in the last 30 minutes she goes through a lot so how can she survive this journey when a message popped on her mobile screen from Ankush " all the best for your journey, I am waiting for you jab thak jao ya na ho paaye come back we will plan a foreign trip together as I already knew what are the outcomes love" she going to switch off her phone when a notification again popped up on her phone
" kabhi kabhi ek kadam hi zaroori hota hai safar ke liye aur kabhi kabhi hazar kadam bhi kam pad jaate hai manzilo ke liye, zaroori nh hai hum manzil pe phuche lekin uss raastein pe bhi na chle ye toh glt hai" a thought from some writer blog which her friend used all the time on her social media account she doesn't have any idea about him aur her.
"Sana come yaar kha kho gyi hai zaldi kar" jiya yelled.
" kabhi kabhi ek kadam kaafi hai" she repeated the words in her mind taking that one step.
*********
" you love travelling don't you" someone asked the writer.
" I just love new experiences" he replies shutting off his laptop.
" So what's the next destination man?"
" jahan kadam le chle"
" tu thakta nh hai?"
" Remember one thing?" he stares him curiously.
