When we got to the arcade the first thing I did was order my wings i was hungry and just wanted my chicken meanwhile Erica and Luvy went to skate. I say there for a min before I was called and went to grab my wings when I got back to the table Don was sitting there.

"Hey" I spoke sitting down.

"Wassam G?" He looked at me. "Nun I've been chilling." I shrugged taking a bite of my chicken "how you been?" I looked at him

"Uh I been cooking I would be good if someone wasn't igging me." He side eyed me. Making me roll my eyes "What's wit the attitude?" He asked sighing.

"Dude. You literally asked me out then I called you." I held my fingers up. "Not once not twice but multiple times asking if you were on your way I even left a voice mail and yet no answer from you in days?."
I turned my head
"what made you think i was gon be all coool and buddy buddy wit you after That? Matter fact what even happened for you just to ghost me?"

He sighed deeply before replying.

"My mom for some reason gave an old friend my address and I got caught up catching up wit her-" I cut him off "her? Come on Don." I sighed and shook my head.

"I know India I know it makes this so fucked but I really did lose track of time." He looked at me.
"it caught me off guard and I really did not mean it. It made it seem like I blew you off for some old girl." He got up and came to sit next to me.
"Illy I like you but I can't lose you to this love shit." He shook his head
"you just someone I can't lose." I shook my head at his words.
" Don't." I looked down. "Don't tell me that Don." I looked away.
I heard him sigh. "I want you I really do but I-" he closed his mouth. "I'm scared. I don already fucked up. I'm just nervous."

I finally looked at him again "JaDon I'm just as scared and nervous as you. But you saying your scared doesn't give you a right away to fuck up." I looked in his eyes " and you fucked up. And despite that I still want you and I hate that."

"Imma show you." He got up out the booth and came over and kissed my forehead. " imma show you but you just gotta let me. I know I messed up. Just." He sighed. "Let me try when I come around." And with that being said he walked out the door. Leaving me fighting my heart and my mind once again.
