Scott wakes you and the rest of the girls up. You head to breakfast together. After that you head to the gym. It's time for recreational activities.
The rec room has two yoga balls, two treadmills, some dumbells, and two punching bags.
Dreemurr does some stretches on the yoga ball and White follows her lead. Scott and Allen jog on the treadmills.
You stand by White and Dreemurr and use the dumbells. "I'm sorry about yesterday. I'm just scared of what will happen once you're out. Who will look after us?" She asks.
"We'll look after you when she's gone. So you have nothing to worry about." King says. She walks up to you. "And you, listen up because I will not repeat myself." You watch her wearily. "All this equipment belongs to me. As long as I'm around no one but my crew touches it. If anything happens in this prison it is to go through me first, understand?" You nod your head. She smiles at you. "Good. Glad we have an understanding." Right now you want to wipe that smug grin off her face but at the same time you can't just undermine all of Dreemurr's hard work.
You and the girls leave the rec room. "Now what?" You ask. "Follow me." Dreemurr says. Everyone follows her to her room. "Wait here." Dreemurr leaves and comes back with a pitcher of tea. You and the girls sit on the bed. She takes some cups off her shelf and hands them out to everyone. She pours tea into each of the cups. Then she makes her own cup of tea. You and the girls thank her.
You drink from your cup. The tea is delicious. It's not like anything you've tasted. "I made the tea from Echo flowers." Dreemurr explains. "What are Echo flowers?" You ask. "How about I show you?" dreemurr says. She picks up a blue flower and sits it in your lap. "Go on, say something." She says. "What do you call tea given by a Queen?" You ask. "What?" Dreemurr asks. "Proper tea." Dreemurr snickers. Her laughter turns into giggles. "That was terrible!" Allen says. "Yeah, but it was clever." Dreemurr defends.
The Echo flower repeats the whole conversation. You stare at it in shock. "Did it just-?" Dreemurr nods. "Yes, that's why it's called an Echo flower." You nod in understanding.
You and the girls finish up your tea. You all talk about what's waiting for you outside of prison.
Officer Jones calls you out of the room. You leave the room. "What is it?" You ask. "Your lawyer wants to speak with you. Now follow me." You follow Jones to a secluded room in the prison. She stands outside the door, waiting for you to go in. Your lawyer is there waiting for you. She's a brunette with her hair done up in a neat bun.
"Come in. Have a seat." She says as you approach the table. You sit down. "I am Chloe Wilson but Wilson will suffice." She looks you over. "So how is prison treating you?" She asks. "It's alright." Wilson smiles. "Great. Now that we got the pleasantries out of the way we can get down to business." She pauses. "You need to plea guilty." Wilson instructs. "What?! Why?! I'm innocent." Wilson shakes her head. "If you're found guilty you can spend up to 10 years in here if you don't take the plea." She informs.
"Fuck! So what happens if I do take the plea?" Wilson sighs. "The only way you can save your ass is if you claim to have defended yourself. Then you will get one year at most because it's Assault 3rd degree." You nod your head. "I understand." She smiles. "Good. Because the police are waiting for an official statement."
Wilson leaves the room and returns with a couple of officers. "Do you have your statement Ms. L/n?" One of the cops ask. "I plead guilty to Assault 3rd degree." They jot down what you say before making their way out the room. "Thank you for your cooperation, Mrs. L/n. Have a nice day." The cops leave the room and Officer Jones escorts you out.
"You're always watching over me. Why is that?" You ask. "Quiet, prisoner. Only speak when you are spoken to." You say nothing to her the rest of the walk. She pushes you in your cell before shutting the door.
"Look. I'm just looking out for you. Your father has connections and, well, he wanted me to keep an eye on you. To make sure no one hurts you." Jones explains.
"He doesn't hate me? I thought he would've sided with his actual daughter, not me." Jones smiles. "Well he doesn't believe her and that's why he's trying to build a case against her." You furrow your eyebrows. "But why?" You ask. "It's because he loves you." She answers. "Okay, can I be left alone now?" You ask. She obliges. She leaves your cell and goes back to patroling.
You lay on your bed and cry into your pillow.
