The rain hit the windows of Button's house with such force Mary thought they would smash. The small crying child in her arms seems to only add to the headache forming from the noise.
"Shh, you're as loud as the thunder" She tried her best to get the baby to stop crying.
What Mary was not aware of was a caveman was watching her from the dark corner of the room, finding much laughter out of the crying child. The caveman watched as a woman whom he had seen many times around the large house and grounds walked in wearing her normal frown.
"What's all this noise for?" The woman asked her deep blue dress pooling at her feet.
"I should not know my lady he started crying" Mary whispered trying to keep her voice down.
"Oh my dear" the woman said her eyes softening once she took the baby into her arms.
"Thank you Mary I will see you in the morning" The woman gave Mary a quick smile something truly rare for anyone to see. Mary smiled.
"Good evening lady Thomson" With that Mary left the room.
Lady Thomson took a seat in the old wooden rocking chair that was placed in the corner of her son's room, this was the same chair that belonged to her mother and her mother before her.
"Shh, it's alright dear mummy here now" She kissed his forehead, and slowly but surely he was calming down.

"Mary, Mary are you alright" Pat's voice rang out making the woman jump, she saw all the ghosts looking at her. The same woman in a deep blue dress was standing to the far left of her like always she was always distant from everyone.
"yes," Mary spock looking at her friends, the room was quiet for a bit before they went back to whatever they were talking about.
Blue eyes looked into her.
"Alison back" Kitty jumped excitedly from her seat in the window, the group watched as the car came to a stop as the two living residents exited the car and made their way back into their ghost-filled home.
Mary who was now standing next to Lady Thomson jumped when she heard her whisper.
"It's not your fault it was never your fault Mary" and with that, the women walked away with Mary quickly following behind leaving the rest of the ghost.
"Are you alright dear?" Lady Thomson asked once they were alone.
"Yes miss" Mary's reply was short.
"I have told you many a time to call me Ivory we are friends are we not" Ivory smiled at Mary.
"Yes miss I mean Ivory," Mary said she was about to continue walking when she noticed Ivory had stopped in front of a familiar door.
"It was not your fault 400 years ago and it's not your fault now do you understand?" Ivory asked her brown hair flowing down her back like it always did, Mary nodded and she was sure that if she could cry she would be.
