Part 4

Dabi continued to play with his hair smiling down at his sweet boyfriend and hopefully soon Husband...

In the next morning Dabi woke up to the sun shining into his face. After his mind got clear again he smiled and looked down at Hawks who was peacefully snuggling up to him. Dabi had his arms wrapped around him tightly and Keigo had his arms and legs wrapped around him. Dabi started to stroke Hawks hair which made both of them smile a little. Since they had a week off he decided to let Hawks sleep as long as he wants to.
Dabi then thought about his plans for the week.
His mind goes wild at the thought of proposing to Hawks. On one hand he was super nervous but also happy and on the other hand he was really worried about the possible situation that Hawks would say no. They have been together for almost 9 years now but he was still afraid to ask since their relationship wasn't always so happy. They had a lot of ups and downs but eventually couldn't help but find themselves in each other's arms again. He got pulled out of his thoughts by Hawks sleepy voice mumbling a little "Hey there bacon" Dabi slightly chuckles as he kissed Hawks forehead. "Hey there birdbrain" Dabi said as Hawks nuzzled into his chest again. He smiled petting Hawks head who slightly pushed up into his hand which made Dabi chuckle. "Got any special plans for today birdie?" Dabi asked as Hawks shook his head. "N-no but I do want some chicken" He said before looking up at Dabi. He chuckles as he looks down at Hawks. "I can do that" He said softly before pulling Hawks into a soft and gentle kiss which made the both of them melt into it directly. Dabi placed one of his hands on Hawks cheek stroking it softly and Hawks wraps his arms around Dabis waist. They kissed like that for a while before they both pulled away. Hawks smiled up at Dabi which makes him smile too. "I gotta take you somewhere special today" Dabi said to Hakws with a little smile. Hawks couldn't help but flap his wings a bit out of excitement. "Where are we going?" He asked quickly. "I'm not telling you birdie" Dabi said making Hawks pout. Dabi chuckles and kisses his nose. "You'll find out later baby" he said and Hawks nodded.
Hawks then snuggled up to Dabis chest again just wanting to be close to him. Dabi smiled and reached up to pet his head. "Are you clingy little bird?" Dabi asked with a little chuckle Hawks nodded. "You're so warm" he mumbles against his chest causing Dabi to smile more. "I know birdie. That's my quirk" Dabi whispered and kissed the top of his head. Hawks giggled a little and hugged Dabi close. After a while he looked up at Dabi. "Can we go to KFC?" He asked him making Dabi chuckle. "Of course love. You can get as much chicken as you want" he said and Hakws smiled big. "Yayy" he said and hugged him tightly again. "But first I wanna cuddle more" he said and Dabi gave a nod. "Of course birdbrain" he said and Hawks closed his eyes. He ended up falling asleep again and Dabi just held him close playing with his hair. A few hours later he woke up again smiling at him sleepily. "Hey baby" Hawks whispered and Dabi smiled. "Hey there love" he answered him. They then got up and got dressed. Dabi grabbed his phone an his wallet. Hawks went onto the toilet before they left which Dabi used as an opportunity to quickly put the ring for Hawks in his pocket. Once Hawks was done Dabi grabbed his hand and they went to the nearest KFC. Hawks got himself a ton of chicken and Dabi got a bit for himself. He paid for them and Hawks quickly took his food. They sat down and started eating just talking about what came to their minds. Once they were done they threw away their trash and Dabi took Hawks hand. He checked the time and it was still pretty early so he decided to take Hawks shopping. They actually spent 4 hours in the mall which was perfect for Dabi. They brought everything home and then Hawks looked at Dabi excitedly. "When are we going?" He asked quickly making Dabi chuckle. "Now" he said which made Hawks smile more. They walked for a bit and Hawks was clinging onto Dabis arm his wings flapping in excitement just like he was a little kid. The sun was going down and the sky was a beautiful yellow pink. Dabi took them to a cherry blossom tree. And not just a random one. It was the one where they met 12 years ago.
Dabi was pretty beat up when they met. He got in trouble with some guys at their school. After he got beaten up pretty bad he sat down under that exact tree. Hawks soon saw him sitting there and sat down with him. He used his sleeves to wipe away any blood that was left on Dabis face. They became friends after that and eventually started dating.
As Dabi led Hawks to the tree he instantly recognized it. He smiled more and looked at Dabi. "You're so sweet" Hawks said with a smile. Dabi chuckled a little and looked at him. "I figured you like this place" he said with a smile to which Hawks nodded. They walked to the tree and just stand there. Hawks had his arms wrapped around Dabis neck and Dabi had his hands on Hawks waist gently. The kissed softly making them both smile. Once they pulled away Hawks smiled up at Dabi with a little love sick twist in his eyes. Dabi chuckles a little and kissed his cheek. "I love you" he said to which Hawks smiled more. "I love you too bacon" he said making them both giggle. Dabi then separated them and looked at Hawks who was still smiling. Dabi took in a nervous breath looking at Hawks. He then got onto his knees pulling out the little box with a ring in it. Hawks stared down at him his mouth hanging open as he presses his hands over it. "You know I'm not the kind of guy for much words so I'll make it quick." Dabi started to say. "Will you marry me?" Dabi asked. It took Hawks a moment before he nods super quickly. "YES- I mean yes" he said and Dabi let out a sigh in relief getting up. He put the ring on Hawks finger before they hugged tightly with Hawks starting to sniffle. Dabi kissed his cheek softly "Don't cry baby" he said and Hawks just kept clinging onto him. After a while Hawks pulled away. He had a few tears on his cheek but he smiled like there was no tomorrow. He then kissed him passionately wrapping his arms around Dabis neck. They both smiled and Dabi happily kissed him back.
They stayed like that for a few minutes before Hawks had to pull away due to a lack of oxygen. He smiled brightly and hugged onto Dabi tightly. "I love you so much" Hawks mumbled into his shoulder as he closed his eyes. "I love you too birdie" Dabi said and gently kissed his neck once.
They stayed under the tree for an hour before they decided to go home again.
When they got home they put on comfy clothes and laid down on the couch. Hawks crawled on top of Dabi snuggling into his chest. Dabi smiled and wrapped his arms around him. "Cuddling you fiance huh?" He asked with a chuckle to which Hawks nodded and giggled. "Of course" he answered as he kissed him quickly. Dabi kissed him back making both of them smile. Hawks pulled away after a while and smiled. "Can we watch The Walking Dead?" He asked and Dabi chuckles. "Sure" he answered. Hawks smiled and laid down next to Dabi and snuggled onto his shoulder. Dabi turned on the TV and started Netflix. After two Episodes Hawks fell asleep and Dabi decided to turn off the TV and sleep too.
