The Raven and The Fox (A Itachi Love Story) ON HOLD

5 years later

Kitsune's POV: 

I awoke screaming from my nightmare. It's been 5 years since that day. 5 long years without him. Today is the 5th anniversary of the Uchiha Masscerade. I reluctantly made my way to the bathroom.

I took a shower and got ready for the day. I put on my ANBU outfit. The gray plates of armor on my chest, legs, and arms. Underneath that would be some shorts and a fighting tank top. I had my black fighting boots on and my weapon pouch in my right thigh.

I strapped on my fox mask and I flashed out of my house and to Sasuke's apartment.

Sasuke's POV:  

I was eating breakfast when someone knocked on my door. 'If its one of my many fangirls I will literally kill them. Today, is not a good day to fawn over me'.

I was very sad and lonely today because its the 5th anniversary of my clan's murder. I slowly got up and walked to the door. When I opened it, I came face to face with an ANBU Black Opp. I was really nervous now. What did they want with me? Did I do something wrong?

The ANBU chuckled and released some sort of undetectable genjutsu. I then saw a pair of fox ears and a tail. I relaxed and gave them one of my rare smiles. She took off her mask and gave me one of her even rarer smiles. "Hey there Sasuke". "Hey Kitsune".

She was the only one that survived next to me. Turns out that HE missed her heart by a half centimeter. She was recovering in the hospital for months. I came to visit her everyday and I even slept over there on the weekends.

She finally got back to her job as an ANBU Black Opp just a few months ago and she never shows any emotion to anyone. The closest they got was a fake smile. But, that smile doesn't reach her eyes. She only shows real emotion towards me. We are very close. I keep her company cuz her clan hates her and she keeps me company because we were always together when he and her were together as a couple.

I hugged her. Today was the day that 5 years ago she almost died. He missed her heart and I'm so grateful for his careless mistake. She hugged me back but her smile was very sad. "I'm sorry Sasuke. I have to do my job and missions. When I come back, then we can spend the night together, okay?" I nodded. She gave me a kiss on the forehead and then disappeared. I swear, if he proposed to her, I would like her more as my second mother, than his wife.

Kitsune's POV: 

I flashed to the hokage's office. I put on my emotionless mask and walked right in. The Hokage had a grim expression on his face. "Oh, Kitsune. I'm glad your here. I have a very um, special mission for you. A solo mission to be exact". I raised an eyebrow. 'Solo mission? What's the catch?' He shooed everyone else out of the office and he put a genjutsu around the building so no one could enter.

"What is this about Hokage-sama? What is my mission?" His grim expression somehow got grimmer. "You must kill the Koizumi Clan". I gasped. "And become like Itachi?! Why?!?"

"They are plotting to destroy this village. Itachi had a reason to kill the Uchiha clan and now your reason is to protect the village". "Do you except the mission or do I have to get another ANBU to do it and sadly kill you in the process?" I started at him shocked. 'Kill my clan and become like Itachi or let another ANBU kill them and me?'

I was going to decline when I remember what my clan did to me. Shunned me, mistreated me, abused me, all because I got an 1 thousand year Kekkei Genkei? I smirked and a surge of power ran through me. "I'll do it Hokage-sama. This will be my ultimate revenge for treating me like that over the years".

He let out a snort. "I'm glad that you except. Their behavior towards you has gone far enough. You must kill them by tomorrow. Or at least in 2 days by the latest".

I nodded. "Hai. Thank you Hokage-sama for giving me this life changing mission". And with that I left to prepare.

~12 hours later~

I finally am done with the preparations. I sharpened my weapons and all. I started to hear a tap on my window so I got up and walked there. There was a messenger bird from the Hokage. I let it in and read the message. I gasped. Once I kill them I must be a rouge ninja to protect myself. I'll be just like Itachi. But if Sasuke finds me I'll tell him the truth and visit him. I got permission to do that in the letter. I wrote a response and went to bed.

Tomorrow is going to be one hell if a day.
