Chapter 16

Bella's POV

The strangest thing happened. Victoria said "I believe you." As she started dry-sobbing. What I did then shocked everyone including myself. I walked up to her and I hugged her and told her that everything was going to be okay. She looked up at me and asked what I was hoping to have accomplished in the first place.

"My intentions were to avoid killing anyone, unnecessarily. I didn't come here to fight you. You saved my life and you're the only reason I'm where I'm at today. I owe you so much more than you realize. I'll be forever in your debt."

"Can I join the Volturi? Please."

"Of course, Victoria." After that we leaned up Tanya's ashes and we all set off back to Volterra.

Once we all got back to the city, I showed Victoria where she will be staying. Her room will be between mine and Alec's room and Jane's room. Jane and I mad a plan to take her shopping after we all head to the training room. It's been a pretty stressful day for all of us so we could use the time to relax and let off some steam. The Cullen coven are also going to be staying here for a little while longer than originally planned.

We were just barely leaving the training room and getting ready to go shopping, but as we were walking out of the gates of Volterra, someone grabbed Jane, Victoria, and I. They put a blind fold over all of our eyes and some cloth over our mouth that smelled a little weird.
