"There coming" a voice rang through the darkness. "Who? Those two little brats?" A boy in a dark brown hoodie chuckled, as he leaned against wooden crates, it was the only corner in the dark, abandoned interrogation room, that was actually lit, and even then the lights were dim and flickered, when the light was brightest, blood staines, and musty water glinted in it. "I don't think they could even find their way through a corner store back to their mothers, much less through Mark's labyrinth" The boy chuckled, and his head tilted up to the light, his blue eyes glowing. "Don't underestimate them, Elio" another boy stepped into the light, and he pushed his glasses up, the light reflecting off of them. Drips from the ceiling could be heard in the waiting darkness. The second boy's hair was so dark the black of the room almost beckoned him back into it. "After all these...what did you call them?" He thought for a moment "Little brats?" he though more, "well they've already drawn the police to the Alley Cat's hideout" The first boy suddenly stopped, shock on his face, then relief, "As I said, we own the labyrinth, I doubt they'll ever find their way here" his blue eyes glinted, cold and heartless. "Be warned, if you get too ahead of yourself...you just might slip up." The second smiled, "I guess we'll see Lukus, we'll see" The lights flooded off in an instant and the one thing remaining in the darkness were the two boy's, yellow and blue eyes.
Apollo and Quince sat as the police lights flooded in by two's until eight cars blocked the gang's few exits, the police had found six men, but Quince hand known there was four others, but they wouldn't be found, the six men that had been caught had in fact been involved in the gang's festivities, but they were human. Apollo knew this too, and he knew the other four weren't the same as the six, something about the way their eyes lit up, the way they walked and talked, the heartless way they could kill with no remorse, and no survivors that they had not intended to use. These were creatures made to poke, prod, and cut down the human race when they grew too many. They were monsters, no human eyes grew red, as red as their hands, or tongues when the flesh was broken. Apollo flinched and Quince drew further from the hideout. "What were they?" Quince asked, "I'm not sure," Apollo admitted, "but they aren't good." An officer walked to the two boys, and then smiled "thank you two, you were both very brave, and if you need a ride home we'll take you" his hat dipped in a nod at the officers command in an unspoken greeting. "That would be nice, thank you" Apollo nodded emotionlessly back to the officer. "Alright hop in and I'll take you back to..where?" He asked "Just drop us off at the entrance to Fifth street" Apollo said. "Will do, but make sure you get home safe, both of you" he said before opening the door to his car, and the two kids got in and began to drive.
"Idiots!" The large man screeched, his red eyes could set fire to an army of men, the way they flickered and burned. "I can't allow you two to live!" He screeched, "Lukus!" he called, a boy about 19 years old walked to the larger man, "Yes Maverick?" Lukus dipped his head. "I want these two taken care of, take them to Elio" With that Maverick dismissed Lukus with a wave, and the lesser boy waved four girls forward. Lulus walked along the four girls dragging the other two. Hissing and screeching, before disappearing down the hall. "Well, well, well, Jayden, and Lory," Elio laughed, "I never expected you two to be here?" He glanced at them up and down, "Do you need something or...?" Elio trailed off in confusion before Lukus cleared things up "Maverick ordered them to be killed" Lukus' head tilted up to meet Elio's, both sets for eyes glinted, and a smile formed on Elio's face. He laughed a laugh that could bring a god to shivers "I knew it!" His laugh became more vicious as his hood fell, and he closed his eyes to brush his hair back out of his face, but the hair fell when his head did, studying the ground, and his arm covering his still cackling mouth. Muffled laughter filled the air. "I was just telling Hecate the other day, about how you two were going to be gone soon" He chuckled, "The Alley Cat gang wasn't a real part of the Labyrinth Empire, and certainly not stable when the gang's leaders were a couple of weak children prancing around in a dream of love. We're demons! We don't love! Get that through your head!" Elio laughed. "Well no matter now," He said calmly reaching for a pair of surgical gloves and a bat. "You've disobeyed now...and the Labyrinth Empire, need not, two little bugs." Elio smiled a sickening grin and dragged the wooden bat over to the two, the wood made a horrible thumping, and rhythmic clunking on the stone, red stained floor, then all went silent. Lulus stepped back his footsteps sounded on the floor, before a thump was heard, Lory fell to the ground, "Come on now, that couldn't have hurt so bad, normally others would be fighting back by now" Elio walked over then kicked her back "Fight, plead, do something!" He took more steps forward "Make this entertaining!" He yelled, then slammed the bat with impact to her ribs. Lory grabbed the bat and tossed it aside, then held his side and stood, shaking. "I tried okay!" She yelled, "I tried my best!" she cried "I stood by Maverick, I stood by Hecate, I stood by Jayden" Her tears danced down her face "I even stood by you!" she flinched "I did everything I was asked, I'll I ever wanted was to be with Jayden, and once I had that, I never asked for anything more, and now, just because I disobeyed once..."Her voice broke and she screeched "Once! I'm being put to death?! What logic is that?!" Lory asked, her face the same as a pitiful dog's. "You live to serve Mark! Your life isn't your own! Get it?" Elio's insane voice rang before he landed another blow to the side of her head, and she fell. "You were always so selfish, everything you did was for yourself, you were never anything!" He landed another in the same spot, "Look at me," he whispered his voice soft, he lifted her head and whispered into her ear, "You are nothing" as he whispered he gestured to Lukus with his off hand, and a gun was placed into it. "Dasvidaniya Lory." a bang was shot and a new layer of red soothed the floor. Elio laughed then walked over to Jayden, "bednaya svinya" Elio chuckled, without your other half, your heart weeps, Elio teased, "Don't worry, I've had my fun" Elio smiled, and his eyes softened, "I always did find you useful, what a shame you lost your way. Personally..." Elio grabbed Jayden's face then turned it left, then right, "Yes, personally, I'd have let you live, but...orders are orders." He smiled "Dasvidaniya" Another bang, and it was all over. "There was no need for conversing with them" Lukus murmured from the corner. "Of course there was, if you brought them to me, and I instantly killed them...well, what fun is that? Conversing allows me to terrify their thoughts, even after their death, I don't allow them to rest in peace." Elio smiled, taking off the gloves, and throwing them away. "They always do make quite a mess though" Elio nodded.
