LANI BACKSTORY:
When Kehlani was a small child her mom, died from lung cancer, leaving Lani broken with only her father to care for her. Lani's father Carlos taught her everything she needed to know about the birds and bees, periods, sex, boys, and more. There were still things that Carlos couldn't teach her to do in life, but he tried. When Lani turned 16, she started her own clothing business to make more money to help out around the house with food, cleaning supplies, toiletries, etc. Even though Carlos told Kehlani many times to save her for future purposes, she still helped out. A year later, Carlos died, leaving Kehlani to watch out for herself. So Kehlani made it her goal to graduate and grow her business to make her parents happy.
VON BACKSTORY:
Young Javonti was known for being a player throughout his high school years. He was a quarterback for John J. Smith High School, so of course, he was a jock. Von would have girls falling all over him just by a single wink of the eye or smile since he was eye candy, but little did they know he had a side nobody knew. There were times when he would lose his cool in front of his friends over simple stuff like food, girls, money, and bullshit. But one thing about Von is when he sees something he wants, he will not stop at any cause to get it, even if it includes him getting physical.
