The plan (in action)

The next day which was a Sunday, Taeil was off work today but decided to go to the park. Taeil liked going to the park on his days off, going to watch the fishes in the pond below a tiny bridge.

He enjoyed watching them swim freely. All of the different types of colors and designs soothed his head, until someone had called Taeil's name and as Taeil turned his head to see who had called him it was Tuan.

Taeil took a deep breath out, trying to ignore him, looking down in the pond.

As Tuan got to Taeil, Taeil looked away from the fishes in the water and looked at Tuan saying "yes?"

"Some people from our class invited us to some coffee in a cafe nearby."

"People from our class invited us?" Taeil repeats confused, emphasizing on the word 'us.'

"Yeah, they said they would pay for us!" Tuan says in a smile.

"Pay for us...are you sure they're not just looking for you?" Taeil asks, making sure.

"I'm sure, I'm sure, I've seen them in our class before, come on!"

"I'm not going to a cafe with you." Taeil announces as he turns his head, looking back at the fishes.

"Come on Taeil, please~" Tuan begs as he gives the smaller boy the puppy dog eyes. Taeil sighed as he gave into Tuan's begging and decided to go.

As the two boys had gotten into the cafe the six popular boys were waiting for them at a table near the back of the cafe where barley anyone was sitting.

As Taeil saw the six boys his eyes open wider in shock. "A-Are they the ones who told you to come here with me?" Taeil asks, pointing to the six boys.

"Yeah, why?" Tuan asks confused, smiling at Taeil.

"No, I'm not going then." Taeil says turning around.

"Wah, Taeil why! They said they'd pay for what we want and everything, please~" Tuan begs once again.

"I'm leaving, you can get your free coffee alone."

"Ta-eil, they said if you weren't with me I'd have to pay for my own coffee and I didn't bring any money!"

Taeil grunts as he says "if you want a free coffee I'll give you a free coffee." But as Taeil opened his wallet only two dollars remained.

Tuan snickers as he says "I can't even get a cappuccino with that."

"S-Shut up" Taeil mumbles, looking down and closing his wallet.

Tuan then grabs Taeil's wrist and drags him to the group of boys and forces him to sit. Tuan had a huge smile on his face while Taeil had a huge frown.

Jiho smiles as he says "see, I told you my plan would work."

"Plan?" Tuan and Taeil repeat at the same time, giving Jiho a confused expression.

"Nothing, nothing" Jiho says waving his hand.

Jaehyo then looks at Tuan and Taeil and says "okay, let's get right to the point here. Taeil, a couple of girls in our class really dislike you."

"I know." Taeil says looking down, playing with the napkin in front of him.

Jaehyo then continues to say "we don't want you to have any enemies and they always talk behind your back when you're not in the room because you're hanging out with Tuan too much, maybe you should share Tuan a little?"

Taeil sighed as he looked up at Jaehyo seriously and says "you really think I want to be friends with this guy?" He then continues to say "he's the one following me around" Taeil says, looking back down.

Jaehyo sighs as he looks at Tuan and says "then you have to start taking into consideration that there are new people that want to be your friend. It's good to have childhood friends and all but some others want to be your friend as well. If you keep hanging around Taeil all the time, at one point Taeil is going to get harassed by the girls in our class, because it's not the first time something like his has happened."

Tuan sighs as he says "no, I'm hanging around Taeil whenever I want to! I'm catching up with a friend and they can't ruin that! If they try to hurt Taeil i'll protect him, like how he protected me!"

"Protected you?" Jihoon repeats confused.

Tuan smiles as he says "yeah, when we were younger Taeil-" Tuan then gets cut off with Taeil's hand covering Tuan's mouth.

"Shut up" Taeil says taking his hand off of Tuan's mouth moments later.

"What, it's a story about our past. It's a nice story too!" Tuan says in a smile.

"Don't say it though!" Taeil says looking down, embarrassed.

The six friends were now curious on what the story was and asked what it was but Taeil was completely against it. He couldn't let Tuan say such an 'emabrrassing' story like that.

Tuan sighs "if Taeil doesn't want me to say it, I guess I can't."

"Awe come on, please!" Some of the friends were pleading out of curiosity.

"Nope sorry." Taeil says, and with that Taeil asks "is that all you wanted me for, to tell me that?"

Jihoon says "yeah, but-"

"I'm leaving" Taeil says quickly as he gets up and leaves the cafe.

Tuan was about to leave, following Taeil behind him when Minhyuk grabs Tuan's forearm so he couldn't leave. "You can't just leave yet, do you still want your free coffee?"

"You're really going to still give me free coffee even though Taeil's not here?" Tuan says with a smile growing on his face, raising his voice.

"Yeah, so what do you want?" Minhyuk says motioning the waiter to come to their table to take their order.

As all of the boys ordered a normal coffee Tuan ordered a cappuccino with a cookie and a cake. The boys were then shocked with how expencive Tuan's order costed.

"You're really spoiled aren't you, well you better tell us everything now." Jiho says sighing.

"Tell you everything, what do you mean?" Tuan repeats confused.

Yukwon the explains "well...why is Taeil always upset? Has he been like that ever since he was young...and how did you two become friends?"

"Well I don't know if I should tell you guys, are you really close friends with Taeil?"

"I guess we're closer to him than most people are." Kyung says.

Tuan looks down at the table and says "well Taeil wasn't always upset, and he wasn't always a loner." As Tuan says that their orders come in and now everyone was drinking their coffee.

"If he wasn't always like this...then what happened?" Jihoon asks, they were all now looking at Tuan seriously.

Tuan took a sip of his cappuccino as he explained "when I was younger..."

I know I left you guys on a cliff hanger but I wanted to leave suspense! It won't be too suspensfull though since I'll probably put up the next chapter today...
