I thought I woke up with the sun but after laying in the big hotel bed I came to realize it wasn't the case even if it could of been the sun. Moans from the hotel room next to me had woken me up.

"Trevor!"

Hell nah, nope. Absolutely not.

Hurrying on the clothes from yesterday to get out of my room and the sounds from the couple  in the hotel room next to mine.
Giving the mirror a fast look before taking my purse, walking out of my hotel room. Locking the door after myself before putting the key in the purse and walking against the stairs instead of the elevator like last night.

Two reasons.

1) I work off what I ate last night.

2) Don't wanna run into someone that I don't like.

Walking down the stairs while opening the site for the competition to see once again where everything is and when to start also what time I need to be ready for the scholarship dance.

Every step echoed through the stone walls, my white crocs giving out a crack for every time the back slaps against my heel. Pushing the door up to the empty lobby except for the people that work here and a few guests that was doing to the restaurant inside the same building, to get breakfast.
I sent a text in Kiron, Neva and mine group chat saying that I'm taking breakfast if they wanna eat together even if it still is early morning; 7.28 am to be exact, before pushing my phone into the right pocket of my sweats.

The voices from the people already sitting by the tables, eating breakfast was something I could hear before I even sat a foot inside the restaurant. As I walked in the smell of bacon, egg, yoghurt, fruit; short way of saying it, a typical hotel breakfast, hit me.

Grabbing one of the many white plates from one of the tables and started looking around for a place to start. Walking up to one of the tables that had different kinds of bread and toppings. Taking some dark bread, placing some butter on it and a slice of cheese. Continuing walking between the tables that were all filled with breakfast so everyone could enjoy their meals.
Yet I could still hear and see Trevors looks at me when I looked down on my filled plate.

Stop, he is just an ex you don't need to care what he thinks anymore. I tried to tell myself as I sat down on a chair to eat.

A few minutes with my ex and it felt like he wasn't my ex. It felt like when we where together and he judged me for everything.

Yet, I still believe that whatever he have done to me would pass with time and I still will find the one person that could never get tired of me.

Walking into the crowded room where the scholarship would be. Taking a standing place on the floor, near the corner I was yesterday.

Knowing that the one that give out scholarships is already judging, I stood a bit straighter. I could see Neva and Kiron a few people away, talking.
