Chapter 7: A Car?!

We followed mom outside and what we saw was amazing!! I couldn't stop smiling!

Odette: surprise!

Harith: sweet ride!

Harley: ooo a Lamborghini.

Lesley: you.. you bought this for me?

Odette: *chuckles* not only me, it was also the help of Silvanna.

Lesley: no way! It's amazing! I don't even know what to say.

Odette: you can start with a thank you.

Lesley: thank you so much mom! It really does bring a tear to my eye.

Harith: so who knows how to drive?

Odette: here's your license.

Lesley: no way!

I pressed the button and it spoke to me, blue lights flashed as the car spoke.

Car System: Welcome Lorelei Vance.

Harley: wow!

Car System: where would you like to go today?

Harith: wow it even auto drives!

Harley: what's that?

Harith: it's uhh nerdy stuff.

Harley: ew.

Lesley: can we take it out for a drive?

Odette: sure.

I got in the driver's seat and held onto the steering wheel. Harley sat in the passenger seat and harith was in the back.

Harith: let's go to DQ!

Lesley: uhh..

Car System: call me Edna.

Lesley: Edna, take us to dairy queen..

Edna: ok.

The car started to reverse. I saw a tutorial on the side screen.

Harley: I think that's how she works.

Lesley: wow.

The steering wheel started to turn and go straight. Without me even touching the pedal. I sat there and relaxed.

Harley: hey Edna!

Edna: hello Harley, what would you like today?

Harley: play rock music!

Edna: ok

Suddenly metal rock music started playing on the speakers. Damn they were awesome! Harley and Harith started jamming out. I did as well. We had stopped at a red light and when the light turned green, Edna had turned to a street.
