The signal of a smoke bomb is heard on top of the arena rooftop, as well as around the village gates. Sound and Sand ninja's summon Giant Snakes and they start to attack everything in sight. Chaos ensues on the rooftop as Anbu ninja's join the fray.
"!!!" Everyone is alerted at what's going on.
"What's going on here?!" Killua exclaims.
"I'm hearing screams of pain on the rooftop... I don't get it!" Wendy exclaims too, worried.
"!" Seeing the leaf ninja's fighting a couple sand ninja's, "This is far from being some random accident... this is a full-on invasion!" Killua exclaims, stunned and gets it now.
"Right here against the leaf village?! No..." Wendy trials, stunned, "This is almost similar to what happened back at the grand magic games." She recalls back to the eclipse dragons attacking fiore, "The difference being we completed the tournament before that happened."
"Green island never had anything like this..." Killua said before hading, "This means the chunin exams is..."
"Cancelled. That's right." Shino confirms, "All we can do is fight against our attackers and prevent them from causing more destruction."
"Hearing this from a quiet guy? I agree." Killua replies, at the same time finding it surprising at a full sentence from Shino.
"Yeah, let's do it." Wendy nods.
They now see a purple-like barrier on top of the rooftop.
"On thing after another..." Killua scoffs.
"That must be some kind of barrier..." Wendy figures.
They then see Temari and Kankuro jump down towards Gaara to check on him, which the latter refuses help.
"And this means the sand ninja are in on it too..." Wendy trails.
"So this was their plan all along. To destroy the leaf village." Killua scoffs, mad.
In the arena, "Stop it, gaara!" Temari tries stopping him.
"There's no point in continuing this fight!" Kankuro adds, "Are you forgetting about the mission?!"
"Outta my way!" Gaara shoved him aside, trying to get to sasuke.
Seeing this, "Sasuke needs help, gaara is trying to continue the fight." Wendy notices.
"Right, let's go." Killua nods, and as they go, shino stays where he is.
"Aren't you coming?" Wendy asks.
"There's something I got to check first." Shino replies, "You two go ahead, I'll catch up."
"...." Killua then replies, "Alright, if you say so." Him and wendy proceed to head down.
In the arena, "What are you three doing?!" Baki appears in front of the sand siblings, "Can't you see the operation is underway?!"
"Ugh...Agh..." Gaara clutches his head in pain, kneeling down, which Baki scoffs.
"?" Sasuke doesn't get what's up until Genma appears standing in front of him, facing Baki.
"Sasuke!" Killua and Wendy run over.
"You guys?" Sasuke glances, holding his arm while kneeling
"You okay?" Killua asks.
"I'll heal that arm." Wendy uses her healing magic on his left arm.
"The wound's gone..." Sasuke glances as she finishes, "Thanks." And she nods in reply.
