Chapter4: The Stay

I didn't know who to tell about my stay since the only friends I have here don't like me, so I decided to call an old friend from high school.
"Hello Alex, hey it's Stacy". I said on the phone after a long ring and a hello.
"Stacy hey OMG I haven't talked or seen you in forever girl where you been"!she said with excitement.
"I just been trying to finish school and stuff you know how that is". I said
"Yea I hear you I finish school about two years ago, I didn't really stay long because I wasn't feeling it. she said with disappointment.
"Alww it's fine well it least you got yo degree". I said feeling kinda bad.
"Yea so what's up with you when can we hang".
"See I'm all the way in Cali and my professor wants me to stay with him and, his wife, and kids, and I'm just like that's weird but he said I need more drama and romance in my stories so I kinda agreed to it". I said
"Wow, have he ever done this before"? She asked.
"I don't even know". I responded.
"Well if you really want to graduate and want to be what you want to be, I think you should do it". she saids with confidence.
"Your right thanks Alex your always good help and don't be scared to come done here to see me so we can hang".
"I won't and your welcome love you boo bye". she said before hanging up.
"Love you to bestie". I said hanging up.
Wow I guess if I really want this I need to email professor Jackson and pack my stuff, I'm really gonna do this. The next day after class I tried to apologize to maya about what I did and it was totally uncalled for, but she just said "I don't care anymore just stay out my way". Thats when I felt just bad but Mr.Jackson called me and told me something very important, he said "your friends are just a part of your life to keep you entertained when you get bored, but your friends that turn into family are just a part of your life that will last forever". I didn't really get it but it sound smart, so he continued to explained. Ms. Boiens what I'm trying to say is friends are there when you needed fun but not when you needed love and the ones who are there when you needed love are your family. I guess he say we friends now but I don't see it like that.
"Yea I understand so I made my mind and I'm going to stay".
"Great, Ms.Boiens you are one of my best writers in here and for you to let maya get a better essay than you that really disappointed me that's why I'm doing this so be at my house by 6, dinner starts". He said
"Ok, wait I need the address". I asked
"Oh yess here's my number just text me and be like this is Stacy ok and I'll know it's you ok". he saids while giving me his number and leaving out in a rush.
"Ok thanks, weird man". I said under my breathe. I left the class room and headed to my doom and packed my stuff for that would it last a week or two.
I pulled up in a cab to his place and it was not what I imagine, it was bigger and better, and when I enter cleaner. I was greeted by a black sheep dog, "oh Ms.Boiens your here and you meet buster". his wife said with excitement.
"Yes um wow your house is everything, how do you, where's professor Jackson"? I asked.
"Mrs. Boiens we have to get better names then ms, mr, and professor". professor Jackson says coming down the steps.
"Well there he is, i'mma leave you two to work and you can just call me Marry". she said walking back into the kitchen.
"Yes that Marry and you can call me Jason". he said with a smile.
"Jason Jackson wow and I thought my name was weird, ok Jason what is my first lesson". I said with sarcasm.
"First we eat". as he walk me to the kitchen.
As I walk to the kitchen I see two teen looking kids run pass me, boy and girl.
"Now misty and jalyn is that anyway to get to greet your guess"? Marry asked them sweetly.
"Mom he took my phone".she said still running after him.
"Give her, her phone and say hello to our guest". she tells them
"hi I'm Misty". she responded.
"And I'm Jayln the youngest". he responded.
"The youngest theses, aren't your only kids"? I asked with confusion.
"Jason didn't tell you we have, well he have a son that's about your age, he doesn't visit much only on birthday and holidays". she said
"Isn't that when you suppose to visit". I smarted back.
"Not when your mother didn't won't you and your father wasn't your father, and when people love you so much but still you don't care! She saids slamming the dish on the table.
"mom"! The little girl said.
"So should we pray". professor Jackson saids coming back from the bathroom.
"I'm sorry". Marry said rushing out bumping into Jason.
"What was that about"? He asked.
"Daddy maybe we should just eat". Misty said.
"Ok let's eat". he said sweetly.
