A week had flown by and the bond between Ajax and I was getting to me. He hasn't spoken to me not had I seen him. My heart felt like it was being ripped out even tho I drill disliked him.

Other than going to the library to read and sleep as well as eat there was nothing else I could do.

I got dressed shoving a hoodie i stoke from Ajax on and some joggers that somewhat fit me.
I head downstairs, grabbing some pineapple and shove it in my mouth whilst grabbing some boots that were next to the back door. They won't fit but they'll do.

Since today was somewhat sunny and I knew I wouldn't be seeing Ajax my mission today was to get down to the village and explore.

About an hour had passed and the village was nearly in front of me. I was a slow walker and all the annoying paths and shoes that don't fit me made walk ten times slower than usual.

The village was cute and was bigger than I originally thought it was. It looked much more alive than where I was stuck at.

The streets were bustling and children were laughing and playing.
There was a little market as soon as you enter selling all different types of food and flowers or anything you could ever possibly need.
I head over to some oak trees that stood on the middle of everything and sat down next to them. The sun had come out for the first time in what felt like forever and I was enjoying it.

I saw a man approaching me,he looked around my age and was quite handsome. His hair was tousled, his features were soft and his eyes held a golden warmth. He was tall, having a good build.
"Hello" he said to me standing just in-front of my blocking my eyes from the sun.
"Hi"
"Can I sit next to you?"he said pointing towards the empty space next to me.
"Sure"
He sits down, the sun hitting me again. I allow the warmth of it to take over and allow myself to just relax, closing my eyes.
"It's pretty isn't it"
I keep my eyes closed and give a small "mhm" to him.
"You know,it's nice to see a fresh face, where you from?"
"Oh some where far I suppose"

The next few hours I stay talking and laughing with who I now know as Lucas. He was a year older and looked after his younger sister helping out the people in town when they needed it. He was sweet and it was nice to have a laugh with someone.

The next few days flew by,everyday I'd go and visit Lucas as there was nothing else for me to do.

"You should stay there's a festival tonight" he says whilst giving me a smile
"I'm sorry I can't it's getting late already" I give him an apologetic look
I didn't want to stay much longer because of getting back-it would be completely dark and I'd more than likely lose my way.

"Please,if it gets too late you can always stay with my sister I'm sure she won't mind the company"

I pause for a moment and think- it's not like if I stay out Ajax will notice I'm gone anyway. He's rarely back so what difference does it make?

"Fine you've convinced me"
He gives me a big grin on return.
"Come on let's help everyone get set up!"

Hours fly by of helping everyone to set up for the festival. Everyone was so lovely and polite. They all helped each other, never complaining.

Soon it was time to enjoy the festival. We are lots of food, pizza, chocolate, chicken skewers, anything you could think of we ate. The night sky was ebony, the only thing giving off light was the starts and festival.

For the first time in a while I felt at peace. The aching in my chest was dull, barely even noticeable. In a way I'm glad it's one less thing to think about.
