I have two brothers and growing up it was just the three of us we lived in a treehouse and by that, I mean a home inside a tree that was quite big and was fairly close to the castle and it was about two years later that Orryn felt something wet lapping at his hand which was dangling over the side of the bed. Ignoring the coldness of the water he dove into the water swimming in the direction of Elfryn's room. Grabbing his brother's hand before pulling him out of bed. Elfryn where's Arynn Orynn asked shaking his brother by the shoulders. "I don't.... but before he could finish there was a scream that not even the raging water could drown out and it was as both Orynn and Elfryn rounded the corner that they saw two men staring at one another anger simmering in their eyes. Elfryn was the first to be spotted as the floorboards creaked loudly beneath both their feet causing the boy with curly hair that was as black as midnight and the other a man with wavey hair as dark as chocolate to turn in their direction the twisted smile on the chocolate-haired man's face only grew as he took menacing steps towards them. I'll ask you this once more join me think of the things we could accomplish together the chocolate-haired man said. My answer has not changed the boy with curly hair that was as dark and as black as midnight replied crossing his arms over his chest. The water was rising rapidly slowing down the attacks between the boy with curly hair that was as black as midnight and the other man with hair dark as chocolate Arynn screamed again as the floor opened up  beneath her feet  which were dangling above the icy water. Not knowing how to swim only made the situation worse. The floorboards which she dug her nails into were slippery and her broken nails scratched the wet wood as she began to slip that was until soft and warm hands wrapped themselves around her own don...don't let go she stammered in a whimper as she looked into a pair of baby blue eyes that looked almost icy eyes that reminded Arynn of the ocean stareing back at her one's she didn't recognize ones she could get lost in that was until she looked down at the raising water her eyes met the man's baby blue gaze once again his ears were rosy just like his face. I was too busy admiring every detail on his face from that curly hair that was as dark and as black as midnight his ears were rosy just like his face from the cold. I was too busy admiring every detail on his face from that curly hair that was as dark and as black as midnight to his cute button nose and sparkling baby blue eyes that I didn't notice or hear the board beneath his feet snap. I grabbed his hand before he hit the water and he seemed to be looking everywhere except down. I had just adjusted my grip on the board I was holding onto but my wet hand slipped from his. Another pair of warm hands wrapped themselves around my own pulling me back onto the wet floorboards and I knew just by the warmth of the hands around mine that it was Elfryn who had saved me. Go the curly-haired man shouted grabbing onto the tassels of the rug behind him. Putting me onto his shoulders Elfryn began to swim towards the emergency exit where Orryn was already waiting I was so sleepy that it wasn't long before I fell asleep but not before I saw the boy with curly hair that was like midnight climb up the rug and back onto the slippery hardwood before disappearing into the darkness of night. I awoke to the loud screeching sirens of the police cars ambulances and the fire trucks along with the overlapping chatter I covered my ears to drown out the screeching sirens. It had been another few hours until they were found at the bottom of the farthest emergency exit the pale glow of the moonlight illuminated a small scar on Arynn's hand. The moment one of the firefighters found Arynn Orynn and Elfryn soaking wet in the bottom of the emergency exit he one by one helped them out. The crowd whispered to one another at the sight of the soaking wet siblings as they walked past. Arynn once again covered her ears to drown out the screeching sirens along with the overlapping whispers. It was the next morning that  Elfryn found another home this one an abandoned cottage which was quite big even though the door was so small Arynn in all honesty loved the cottage her brothers loved it just as much as she did. It was nearly winter Arynn's favourite time of the year her room was fully decorated a white Christmas tree filled with ornaments lights garland and tinsel was in the corner of her room her railings were covered in Garland and lights mistletoe hung from the ceiling and a hat perched on top of her head. Arynn was swinging on the candy cane swing In her room when a face popped into her mind, it was him the midnight haired boy my brothers hadn't seen him as I had but over a year the memory of the very curly  midnight haired boy became distant it faded and blurred until eventually I had forgotten about him altogether I had forgotten about the midnight haired boy that was until my first day of school in the small town of Hamelin at a school called Silverwood high but it would be the next day that she would run into the boy with very... Very curly midnight black locks and it would be late that Thursday a school night that something unexplainable would happen.
