"Okay guys, tomorrow we'll leave for a week long training camp. Have your bags packed and be ready to go at 5 a.m."
"Hai!"

"I'm so pumped for the trip! Aren't you Noya?"
"Yeah! We get to be in the same place as Kiyoko!"
The duo began their usually praying to God for this blessing. Falling to notice their friend who was lagging behind them.
Daichi noticed his distressed look and placed a hand on his shoulder. "You okay Ennoshita?"
The sudden attention snapped him out of his daze, "huh? Oh yeah I am. I'm just going to miss y/n. We haven't gone longer a couple of days without seeing each other since we were kids." The first year responded bashfully.
Forming an o with his lips the elder patted him on the back. "Its only a week, you can always text her after practice too." He reassured his friend.
"I guess you're right, its just going to be weird without her." He looked down to the floor watching his feet with every step he took.
He knew it would only be a week, and she would be more than happy to stay up and text him. He just couldn't fathom not having her by his side.
He knew it wasn't exactly healthy to be this codependent on the girl, but he was just a teenager in love. It was okay to be a little needy, right?
-------------------- Day 2 of training week
My knight: Good morning enno! I wasn't sure what time you wake up so I woke up early anyway. Good luck at camp! sent 5:12 am
Princess enno: You don't have to wake up early to say good morning. But good morning to you too <3 i love you sent 5:45 am
He smiled at his phone all morning. She woke up early just to say good morning to him. And she continued to do so all week long.
Maybe the distance wasn't so bad. After all she was at home waiting for him. He could write her a text whenever he wanted, sending her his love every time.

"Ennoooooooo!!" That was all he heard before she crashed into him. She laughed at his expression of shock. Oh how he missed that laugh. It was only a week yet it felt like forever since he heard it.
Holding her close, he smiled. Trying not to stumble over while she put all her body weight on him. But that's okay, he doesn't mind. He didn't need anything else but her in his arms.
"Wrap it up love birds and go home, its late." The captain ordered as he shooed them away. Nodding quickly the two made their way home.
Hand in hand, one step at a time. Just how its always been. Except now they were two lovers in perfect bliss.
