💖Can't Sleep- Beomgyu

It had been a long exhausting day for the members of txt. They had just performed an entire concert and were all physically and mentally exhausted.

As soon as they got home they ate, showered and headed straight to bed.

They had recently changed the dorm arrangements so beomgyu and taehyun were now roommates.

They collapsed on their beds and taehyun almost instantly fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow.

Beomgyu smuggled up in his blankets and closed his eyes trying to calm his brain so he could sleep.

He layed in bed still awake after three hours of desperately trying to fall asleep but his brain would not let that happen. He tried counting sheep, he tried reading, he tried meditation, but nothing was working, and he was so so tired he was getting frustrated.

After another two hours of no progress, beomgyu had enough. He was so exhausted, his body hurt, his head ached form fatigue and he just wanted to close his eyes and sleep.

Tears began leaking out of his eyes as his frustration along with his tiredness finally exploded.

He cried into his pillow clenching his teeth at the ache in his head.

Taehyun stirred slightly hearing beomgyu crying. At first he thought it was in his head but then he heard it echo in the room and he knew it was the real world.

He turned around and spotted beomgyu curled in on himself crying softly into his pillow.

He swung his legs over his mattress and rushed over to beomgyu worried about why he was crying.

"hyung? Hey, beomgyu hyung what's the matter? Why are you crying?" he asked softly as he brushed beomgyu's wolf cut back.

"i...I'm so tired tae...I'm so tired but I can't sleep!" he cried frustrated.

Taehyung felt terrible for the older and slowly rubbed his back and pouted slightly.

"aish, I'm so sorry hyungie...is there anything I can do for you?"

"I tried everything...nothing is working I just...I just want to sleep taehyunnie!" beomgyu cried painfully.

"hyungie, please don't cry, it'll be okay." Taehyun cooed softly still stroking beomgyu's hair.

Beomgyu wiped his face trying to calm himself down.

"here, scoot over hyung." Taehyun said.

"w.. what?"

"just do it."

Beomgyu slid over giving taehyun a space to lay down next to him. he faced beomgyu his hand over beomgyu's waist.

"talk to me beomgyu-hyung, tell me about your day." Taehyun smiled softly.

Beomgyu raised his eyebrow in confusion.

"tae? What are you doing?"

"just trust me hyung."

Beomgyu took a breath and began talking about his day as taehyun instructed.

Taehyun listened intently and as beomgyu spoke, he raised his hand up to beomgyu's face and rubbed the space between his eyebrows with his thumb in soothing circular patterns.

Beomgyu continued to talk and taehyun talked back in a soft soothing voice still rubbing beomgyu's forehead.

Beomgyu felt his eyes try to close but his brain still wanted to stay awake.

"close your eyes gyu." Taehyun whispered.

Beomgyu did already feeling the desperate urge to sleep.

"take slow long breaths, in through your nose out though your mouth."

Beomgyu did as he was told taking big, long breaths feeling his body relax with each one.

Taehyun leaned in and softly began to sing, his voice quiet but the sound of his voice still audible and very beautiful.

Beomgyu smiled, his eyes still closed as his body completely relaxed, taehyun's thumb still rubbing his forehead soothing him deep into his pillow.

Taehyun continued to sing watching as beomgyu's face went lax and his lips parted just slightly.

After a few minutes, soft snores were heard from the older and taehyun smiled in relief. He rubbed beomgyu's forehead for a few more minutes before slowly moving his hand back down to beomgyu's waist. He snuggled into him and let himself doze back to sleep keeping beomgyu close to him listening to his slow breathing signaling he was deeply asleep.

He smiled once more before his brain went dark and he slipped back into dreamland, beomgyu firmly in his hold.
