Michael's POV :
I look down at the drawing, then I looked at the bruise I gave to [Crying Child], I threw the paper down "pft, what a ugly drawing." I went to go sit down to eat, waiting for dad to come out of the kitchen with the food, I saw Beth drawing her stupid fursona, I took the paper away. "Lola the fox?... kinda sounds like Leon the fox- HEY HAVE YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING THROUGH MY PICTURES AGAIN!?" (Leon is mikes past fursona) "I needed inspiration~ 🙄" I grabbed a fork "ILL KILL YOU!!" I said in udder embarrassment "Kids." dad said strictly. We all sat at the table quietly after that, not wanting to disturb dad again. Dad read the news paper and drank coffee as we all ate hot cakes, bacon and eggs. Dad seemed... happier that usual "Dad? You seem way happier, What's on your mind?" Dad looked up "are you saying I'm never happy" i rolled my eyes "yes, I am saying that." Dad sighed "Henry is coming over with Charlie, I'm just really happy I'll get to see him..." There was a moment of awkward silence... *knock knock* dads head bounced up from the news paper and he ran to the door. "I'm just happy that me and Charlie can play dress up!" Beth said as she drew in her book, "damn, what do those hags talk about anyways!?" I was actually pretty curious about what old people did, I mean their old and rusty, how do they have fun!? "U-uhm... maybe they... slowly play c-chess... and when t-they get mad, they slowly throw the t-table!" [Crying child] said quietly, hoping dad and Henry wouldn't hear. I was honestly surprised, what [Crying child] actually said was- funny! I giggled a bit.
We waited till Charlie came, we wanted to greet our little cousin! She just turned 5, 2 months ago, she was now the same age as [Crying child] even though [Crying child] will be turning 6 in 4 months.
"MICHAEL! [Crying child]! Beth!" Charlie said running into the kitchen/dining room. "Hey Beth" Charlie said walking up to Beth, waving a little, "Hey you said hi to Beth 2 times!" I was quite annoyed by this, "I like Beth" Charlie said hugging Beth, "we should all go play tea party!" Beth said with a toothy smile on her face. "No! Last time we played I had to dress up like a princess!" I picked up my siblings dirty plates and put them in the sink, "but Michael! I thought you liked the princess outfit" Beth made a sad face and got up to go leave. "You hurt Beth's feeling Michael!" Charlie went up to me and stared me down "she can suck it up, dresses are for girls, not for boys!" I went to the stairs and started to exit myself from the situation "SHE NEEDS TO SUCK IT UP, BUT YOU CAN'T EVEN HANDLE WEARING A PRINCESS DRESS!?" I stopped in my tracks, my eye twitched in anger. But knowing my father... he wouldn't let me put even a FINGER on Charlie. So I just left.
[Crying child's] POV :
Sweat went down my face as I saw Charlie turn to me with a angry expression, but it changed into manically smiling at me- I think she was looking at me...? She started walking over to the door to the living room where Henry and dad where, she just left, without saying a word.
I was honestly terrified, what could be her plan! Is she gonna snitch on mike, is she gonna hurt- mike... you never know, and you definitely don't want to find out.
I'm pretty sure I was the only one left in the kitchen/dining room... I should just go to my room t- "WAHHHHHHHHHHHH" I saw Charlie fake crying to Henry about how Michael was so mean, I mean- he was! But- he didn't even do anything serious to Beth or Charlie, and I'm pretty sure Beth is over it? I saw her come into the kitchen/dining room and walk to the stairs, with a pretty mad Dave right behind her, and then there was Henry. Just being Henry- I mean, Michael wasn't his kid so he didn't have to deal with it anyways, he just watched as they went up the stairs, Henry knew she was fake crying, but Michael was always mean so, he believed that he did something to Beth, Charlie and me.
[15 minutes later]
I wanted to see what would happen so I just stayed at the table till dad and Charlie came back down, they did come down but with a grumpy 15 yr old teenager, which was Michael. "Clean those dishes, NOW!" I knew nothing serious would happen to Michael, but dad was still very angry, he couldn't stand to see his kids suffer, even if they did something bad, Which is also why- Michael doesn't get in trouble when he bullies me. It's fine I guess, It's not that serious anyways.
Me and Michael had a awkward silence, with water and rapid scrubbing in between. Then he was done, I thanked the heavens he didn't talk to me, or even acknowledge me- ah never mind, spoke to soon. "This is YOUR fault little b*****!" I hated screaming so I just stood still, in shock. He knocked me off my chair causing my head to hit the wall and scraping my knee badly, I started to cry, he reminded me so much of mom...
(A little background story)
[Crying child is deeply afraid of their mom because she abused them, and only them! after crying child finally came out and told, they were sent to the hospital for about 4 days and 2 weeks, causing them to miss their birthday. Their mom is now in jail for child abuse.]
He reminded me so much like mom... I started to sob, covering my face with my hands, wrist side up. Which revealed some scars and bruises caused by Michael's previous bullying. "H-how is it m-my fault! I didn't do a-anything to you!" Michael didn't respond for a hot minute, he wasn't responding or making any movement so I lowered my arms down. "Don't ask me dumb fucking questions." He took my Fred bear and threw it at my face, leaving and going up the stairs to his bedroom. I decided not to tell dad, since that would just tick him off even more, but then dad came in to see if I was still there, he needed some help with the housework. "[Crying child] did Michael do anything to you, you have tears running down you face, and you have a cut on your knee. I think it's pretty obvious actu-" I cut him off. " N-no! I scraped my new trying to get off the seat, then I started crying! Sorry for worrying you dad." I pulled my sleeves down to cover the bruises and the cuts. I really don't want Michael to get in trouble, he just had to deal with his anger issues then me and him will be just fine. "Okay, thank you for being truthful [Crying child]." Dad went up the stairs to go ask Michael to help him with housework, since I wasn't really in shape right now-...
