Chapter four:
We get to my house and go into the kitchen where my mom and brother was. My mom was cooking dinner and my brother was helping out in some way. My mom turns around looking at Willaim.
"Oh... Is he a friend of yours? " I nod my head.
"His name is William. He doesn't really have anywhere to go..." I look at him and he nods. "Ya so is it okay if he can stay with us for a while?" my mom thinks about it then smiles.
"Why not? Welcome to the family! You can sleep in the guest room if you would like." William blushes and hides behind me.
"I-is it okay if I can sleep in Devin's room?" my mom looked surprised then smiled.
"Of course. Is that okay with you Devin?" I shrug.
"I guess." mom smiles.
"Great! Dinner is about to be ready do you want me to call your parents to let you know where you are?" William shakes his head slowly.
"Well okay then me and William will be in our room. Call us down when dinner is ready." we go up to my room and I set my school bag down.
"So... What's the deal when you were in that hospital. Do you live there or something?" he nod his head slowly.
"Oh." it was silent for a second and William comes sits down next to me.
"My parents kicked me out. Two months ago." my eyes widen.
"Why?"
"In the beggining of the school year I was walking to school and I got hit by a drunk driver. The man didn't even pulled up to see if I was okay. To drunk to notice me. I was brought to the emergency room as fast as possible. When I was in the hospital my mom said that it was okay to let go. That if I was gone they wouldn't be sad nor happy. And with that I was in a coma for about two months. When I finally woke up it was a surprise to the doctor thinking I wasn't going to survive. I healed up and I was ready to go to school. But I didn't go to school. Two months ago on the day they kicked me out they said that they are poor because of me. So they kicked me out just so they can survive."
I couldn't believe it... He has been through so much. I feel like its my job now to protect him. I bring him into a hug.
"D-Devin?" I squeeze him tighter.
"I'm sorry that you been through all of this." William hugs me back burying his face into my chest.
"Stupid its not your fault." I smile and rest my chin on the top of his head.
"I know." we stay in that position for a little bit until the door opened.
"Hey dinner is re- woah Devin! I know your gay but please don't do it until me and mother are out of the house." I blush.
"Dillon! Shut up!" Dillon smiles and closes the door.
"So your gay?" I sigh.
"More like bi sexual. But I don't tell anyone that because if words get around that I'm half faggot then I will be coming home with bruises everywhere." I sigh standing up holding my hand out to him.
"Shall we go?" William takes my hand not looking at me. We walk out of the room and into the kitchen where mom and Dillon was already seated both of them looking at us.
"Uh what's wrong?" my mom started to smile.
"Oh my son is finally getting a boyfriend!" I blush like crazy.
"What?!" she smiles at me pointing a fork towards me.
"I know you are bi sexual so you could of gotten a girlfriend anytime with your looks but I think I would like you if you had a boyfriend!" I shake my head.
