Kyoko sat up in her bed. Shit. She thought to herself. Why the hell can't I fall asleep? She groaned and slid her legs off the side of her bed, slipping on her red boots. She walked across the floor of the captain's quarters, each step she took clacking against the hardwood floor. Quietly she opened the door, looking up at the sky where the moon was nearing it's peak, stars glittering around it.
She quickly turned her attention back to the deck, where one of her crew mates was fast asleep. On a normal occasion, she would have stomped over to him and chewed him out right there and then for dozing off on watch, but something made her leave him be. Did I hear something? Kyoko thought to herself.
Carefully, she made her way to the railing on the edge of the boat, and looked over. The noise she had heard grew louder as the boat drifted and Kyoko swore she could see eyes in the water. She was suddenly very afraid, but as she backed away from the railing, the song, for it was a song, called her back. She stood there mesmerized by the lapping waves and without even thinking about it, she pulled herself up onto the railing, and jumped into the water.

I'm sorry this part is so short, I just needed an intro or something, but I promise I'll make the rest of the parts longer. Also thanks to my friend who came up with the Madoka Magica Pirate au idea!!
