Oh. Sora did not want to believe this. It was dreaming, right? Please, please let this be a dream...It was so close to hallucinating. It could not take much more of this. It was all too loud, so Sora retreated to this hallway that branched off from the area where everybody had woken up. The dull-pink haired kid had rested against the wall, slouching on the floor.
Where was it's Mesu when it needed it? It began to tear up, it's train of thought leading to worse and worse images. Who was Sofie, and what would this horrid woman do to Sora. More importantly, why Sora?! Out of everyone in this country, why kidnap it...where the hell was Mesu?!
The child's vision began to blur, due to these cursed watery tears swelling up in it's eyes. A figure began to stand before Sora, another child. The one wearing a panda hoodie. It seemed that kid had woken up, after clutching on that young lady's black cloak. The kid still wore the cloak around it's back and shoulders. Maybe those two had some sort of connection. Sora stood up, nervous on what would occur next. Tears were still planted on it's face, but it was too anxious to wipe them away.
Thank goodness that this other person appeared to be around it's age, or else it's nervousness might have sky rocketed. Perhaps this person was also scared, as well? Sora doubted that this other kid was in any way scheming with that terrifying Sofie...so this should be safe. It did not want to be associated with that fearsome lady.
The kid had noticed Sora, and walked towards it. They waved, and spoke up. "Oh, erm...hey... yeah, you!!
"Ah...I-I...uh...yeah..?" Ah, great response, Sora. Mesu would have known what to say, this was so embarrassing. "W...what do you need?" Sora mumbled out, asking this stranger a rather unwelcoming question. Luckily, it was easier to speak to someone in the same age range, unlike an adult. An adult could easily harm Sora...just like it's...no. Don't think about this now, now is not the time nor place. Focus on what is at hand now.
"Huh...? Oh. First off, I'm Spork, and it's nice to meet you. Anyways, do you maybe know who took us?" The kid asked, scratching their neck. Sora noticed the other slightly cringe, hopefully at their own words and not Sora's. If it was the latter...well. Let us just say that Sora would only grow more uneasy. But at least this...'Spork'...appeared to be in confusion like Sora. What a weird name, it must have been a nickname. Who would name their kid Spork?
"Ah. I, uh...I don't know. But that...that white haired girl, she looked like she had something to do with it..." Clearing it's through, Sora tried it's best to do what Mesu would have done, and continued on. "I, uhm, I fell asleep in an arcade and...ended up here. W-what about you?" Sora initially said, before introducing itself as well. "Also, my name is Sora, you can call me S-Sora."
"Alright, Sora! And...Arcade...? Oh, uh, I was just getting off the..." Spork seemed to be in thought for a few short seconds, and Sora prayed that they did not forget. Any information was crucial, in all honesty. "Oh, bingo! I was getting off the bus stop! It was like every other day, like, like a few blocks down from my house...and I passed out? Or something...? I just remember turning the block before everything went black..."
Sora inhaled, before responding. "Honestly...I don't remember falling asleep e-either. I was just feeling sorta...tired. And was taking a break from relaxing, and I suppose I just assumed I f-fell asleep. But now that you mention it...someone must have knocked b-both of us out." It pondered for a moment, before continue, similar to Spork. "But why target us...? W...what's so special about us?"
Sora questioned out loud, not expecting any good answer from Spork. Anyways, what was so special about Sora? It was almost homeless, orphaned, and only fourteen years old. Hopefully they were not targeting the unfortunate. Because Sora was anything but that.
"Hm.... Now that you mention it, I have... no idea?" Spork responded, having a rather disappointed facial expression. Most likely due to no proof or evidence to try and answer Sora's rhetorical question. "Maybe they have a thing against, like, troubled teens. Or just teens," Spork had finished. Oh, oh no. Did Sora give anything away to indicate that it was troubled? I mean, sure it was troubled it some ways, but Sora doubted that there was anything to give that away...However Sora could not respond, as a scream had pierced the bland walls, stunning it.
The death game had begun.
