The young hero jumped and climbed from building to building on his way to the bank, his long, spiky, brown hair flowed behind him. He stopped at a tall building and he got ready to launch. He flexed his legs and he felt the long quills launch him even higher into the air.
While in the air he corrected himself and started to come down towards the bank head first. He held his hands in front of him like he was diving into a pool and his quills grew and shaped until it started to spin him. As he started to spin they shaped again and made him into a human drill.
He burst through the roof of the bank and almost drilled through one of the robbers. His quills drew back into his hands and arms and he stood up. He looked from robber to robber. Then he looked at the hostages. He moved his gaze to the man who looked to be in charge and smiled like a goof ball.
"Hey guys how's it going? I'm gonna have to ask you to go ahead and leave," he told them. The man didn't say a single word he simply waved his hand and the men shot at the hero. The bullets simply bounced off of him and his smile faded.
"Can't you guys just listen to me for once? I mean seriously," as he talked the leader ran over a and grabbed a hostage. He pulled her up and held a gun to her.
"I suggest you leave now hero. Otherwise the pretty lady gets her brains splattered all over the wall," he told the hero. He scowled and took a step towards the man.
"Now that shit really pisses me off," his whole body erupted in quills and hit some of the robbers in non lethal parts of their body and pinned others to the walls by their clothes. They all struggled and the hostages all hurried out the door. Except one. The girl the boss had grabbed stood up and ran over to the hero.
He looked at her and smiled. The police that had been outside came charging in and took the robbers away, one by one. They thanked him and he wanted to say goodbye to the girl. She was blonde, had green eyes, around 5'8" and looked to be about 16.
"Thank you so much for helping us," she told him with a smile. When she smiled he noticed something strange about her. He pulled a quill about two inches long from his hand and held it out to her.
"Hold this for me," he told her.
"Why?"
"I want to check something," he told her. She grabbed it and it expanded and more quills branched off. She dropped it and he let out a laugh.
"What did I do?" She asked quickly.
"You have a power. You can increase the strength of another power," he explained. "If you'd like I can help you control it. You can probably learn to do other things as well."
"What? N-no! I'm just a normal person! I can't do something like that," she tried to convince him. He simply smiled at her.
"But you just did, with my quill. You made it grow and branch out. I'm telling you what you can do and what you're capable of," he told her. She looked down at the quill and realized he was right. She looked up at him and nodded.
"Good, come on let's go," he said as he held out his hand. When she grabbed it he felt himself get stronger. Quills expanded from his back and took the shape of wings. He jumped and they started to fly. From beneath them he could here people calling "Look! It's The Porcupine!!!"
