Harrys Pov
The keychain is rustling in my hand as I try to unlock the front door. I stick it into the hole and turn right but it isn't working, no matter how much force I put into it, it won't move.
I have the right key and the right house. Why the hell isn't it working?
I sigh, and put the golden thing back into my pocket.
Out of frustration I start jerking the door handle up and down. It's then that I realise the door wasn't locked in the first place.
But this is weird. Mom shouldn't be home, not for another three hours.
I walk inside and silently put my loafers on the shoe rack before quickly walking down the hallway and into the living room.
A blond haired lad is sitting on the sofa blasting some kind of pop-rock through the stereos.
"Luke?!" I say, shocked, and reach for the remote to decrease the volume. "What are you doing here?"
He looks over his shoulder and smiles "Bodyguard at your service."
He then stands up and salutes.
He chuckles. "I'm here because you parents told me so. You would be home alone for the next few hours otherwise and they wanted to prevent that."
I shake my head. "I dont think that's necessary. I'm not a baby, I can look after myself just fine. Have done for years."
"Harry, I'm not here to change your loaded diapers."
"Oh yeah I totally forgot about all the dangerous people in this house." I roll my eyes and go grab an apple from the kitchen.
I hear Lukes footsteps in the doorway but my attention is still set on this nasty sticker on the apple, which I can't seem to get rid of.
"Harry look at me."
I turn around brunginly, looking directly in the muzzle of his gun.
The green apple slips out of my hand and falls to the ground as I stare at him in shock.
"Now what would you do in this situation?"
"I-" I stumble.
Luke sighs and puts his gun back into his weapon belt I didn't notice he had before. "Thats what I thought. You'd be served on a silver plate."
He bows down and picks the fruit up, cleans it with the fabric of his sleeve and takes a bite.
I still stand there with my lower back against the kitchen counter, feeling the cold stone on my skin.
This could have gone wrong on so many levels if it weren't Luke standing there but someone else, someone way more dangerous.
I lay my head back."Oh god." I curse under my breath. Mabye it is a good thing Luke's here...
My bag is still leaning against the wall where I left it earlier. I grab it and head to the living room. Luke is sitting on the sofa again humming the lyrics to a song I'm not familiar with. He leans forward and takes one of the magazines laying on the side table. His fingers flick around the pages as he intensively reads the headlines.
I sit down next to him and take my biological book out of my bag. "So," I start, "now that you are in most of my classes, have you started the biology essay?"
He chuckles "I'm in school to protect you, not to graduate."
"That makes sense I guess."

I went up into my room some time ago, whereas Luke is still sitting in our living room.
I definitely know he's still there because he turned up his music again as soon I was out of sight.
My biology essay is almost finished. Just have to correct some mistakes but I can do that tomorrow.
Just before I could lay down on my bed the doorbell rings. I hustle down the stairs to open the door but luke is already standing there.
"Look dude it doesn't seem that important, come again later." He says defensively and attempts to shut the door but before he could I regognize the face outside.
"No wait!" I say and slightly nudge luke away so I could talk to the visitor.
"Hi Louis." I smile.
Louis has an annoyed look on his face. "What is he doing here?" His gaze is set on Luke who didn't leave my side.
"Oh were just doing a, uhm school project" I lie. "History." I add.
"Ah ok." He looks to the ground. "Well anyways, you forgot your sunglasses in my car when I dropped you off. Figured you might want them back."
He hands me the black glasses. As I reach out to grab them, our hands touch.
He stares at me and I stare back.
Luke then clears his throat.
"Thanks." I say while I feel heat building up in my cheeks.
"See ya." He turns around and I watch him leave.
I feel lukes gaze lingering on me.
"You friends with him?"I nod "Why are you asking?"
"Nothing." He responds stiffly and walks into the kitchen.

The clock turns 4:10. Mom is 10 minutes late, that's not like her.
Luke and I are standing in the kitchen, looking out the window.
It's cloudy outside, the sunny day from noon has vanished.
"She'll be here soon, don't worry." he says while friendly patting my back.
He was right. A few minutes later my mum turned into the driveway.
Luke left short after.

"Are you sure Luke. Are you sure it was him?" Anne asks later that night after Harry had gorn to bed.
"I'm positive. I recognized him the moment i opened the door." Luke responded.
"Oh god..." Anne murmurs, looking down and holding her head in her hands.
"Anne, are you ok?"
"Not a word about this to Desmond. If he finds out Harry's friends with the Tomlinson's son he'll lock Harry away. He'll rob him of the life we dreamed for him to have."
"I understand." Luke nods seriously.
"And Harry mustn't find out. Not under any circumstances."
"He won't, I'll protect him."
