Chapter 1 (Kylie's pov)

(Okay so, this will be chapter one of part 1, like giving background info, such as Kylie's (Main character) friends, family, life, and school. It will always have the teacher's life, friends, family, and school. Also how long he has been watching Kylie, I know it says 2 years in the story, but it's much longer than that)

Kylies pov

It's the start of a new year at my high school, Clayton High. I'm a junior at the school, and I've never been bullied before since I'm quiet, but I try to interact with the other students. I got my classes a week ago but I had to make sure I knew at least one teacher.

Ela Smith, Mrs. She isn't one of them. Well, I'm familiar with her since my friend Amy had her. Amy claims that she does not mark assignments or tests until a month after they are due, but she gives full credit to late work. Mr. Tilly is a math teacher. He has an odd name, but he's a laid-back guy. Offers students plenty of time to complete assignments, yet won't accept late work due to the length of time he gives them. I think my mom dated him once when they were in high school. Mrs. Shook is the art instructor. She's quite competent at her work, but she dresses oddly; my sister used to have her. Then I have lunch, I have lunch with my friends; My best friend who is most of my classes besides 6th Sylvie, Mckenna, Grace, Jay, Liz, and Katie. Mr. Rose is my science teacher for the 4th hour. He doesn't tolerate late assignments in the least. However, I heard that if you give him a 5 he'll take it. Ms. Kay, gym, is in charge of the fifth hour. She's new to the school, having begun working last year, and I believe she's just 25 or 28 years old at the most. She's a young lady, but she's quite nice. The last class is Mr. Williams, social studies. I'd never heard of him before, therefore I don't know anything about him other than the fact that his classroom number is 24.

As usual, I board the bus and wave goodbye to my mum. I'd drive my car, but it was involved in a car accident that my mother caused, so it's currently in the shop. I take out my phone and head to TikTok, where I watch a few videos, like a few, and leave comments on a couple. However, the bus stops at the school, which is fantastic, and I just realized I forgot a pencil. So I send an SMS to my mother.

Hey mom, can you drop a pencil of at the school, I forgot one.

I'm sorry, honey, but I'm at a meeting.

Great. On the first day as well. I'll just ask Sylvie while I wait for her to park in her space.

"Hey, Ky." She says as she pulls in. I'm crazy in love with her. She, on the other hand, exclusively dates males like Jake. Jake, a senior, is the football standout. They've just been together for three months, but she claims she loves him and he says he loves her. But I know I would treat her better. Jake is a typical young guy who enjoys sports and academics. His father works for the News, and his mother is a stay-at-home mom, but that isn't a problem.

"Heyyy Sy. Can I borrow a pencil?" I ask, looking at her as she exits the vehicle and closes the door, her long wavy hair dancing in the breeze. She rummages in her purse and takes out a pencil, which she hands to me. I touch her hand and make eye contact with her, and we both blush. Her nails are usually neatly manicured, neither too long nor too short. Green, her favorite color, was the color of the day.

We get into our first hour, I sit by luke, a guy I have known for 2 years, and Sy sits by Emma. 

"Hey, Kylie." He smiles. His smile is nice. 

"Hey, hottie." I flirt with him sometimes, only because I know he doesn't have a girlfriend and he's kinda cute.

"I have Mr. Willams next hour." He says. 

"Oh, that's my sixth-hour teacher let me know what happens when you get there."  As the day pasts, I'm at lunch.

"Then he gave me a promise ring," Sy says while a smile. I try to change the subject, so I ask Jay a question.

"So... Jay, about that girl you like." I smile as my friend's eyes go on him.

"You like someone!?" Grace asks.

"Yeah I do," Jay says, his face was getting red. He hasn't told me who though, I'm guessing it's some senior.

"Cute!" Sylvie says, "Where's Mckenna, Liz, and Katie?"

"Oh, Katie and Liz are in the bathroom, making out. And Mckenna didn't come to school today."
