Bella Bear

Chapter 2

"That should be fine. I'll just need to send off a quick message to the others."

Once she has done that and has gotten a response we leave the house. It doesn't take up long to run to a large clearing. We don't have to wait long before six other vampires show up. They meet us roughly in the middle of the clearing.

"Peter and Charlotte, long time since I last saw ya'll." One of the males says in a southern accent.

Wait, what? Peter and Car know the Cullens or at least one of them. Why did they not tell me that there were other vampires that they know that drink animal blood? Unless he didn't always. I know both Peter and Char were part of a newborn army in the south.

"Too long, Jasper. You've become an animal drinker and joined a coven." Peter replies.

"Since it seems you already know Jasper I don't have to introduce him. The rest are Carlisle, Esme, Rosalie, Edward, and Emmett." Alice says pointing to each as she says their name.

I vaguely register Peter introducing himself, Char and me as I stare at the one called Emmett. He looks a lot like my brother did the last time I saw him. I've never wondered if there was a chance that Emmett could be out there as vampire. Before I was turned I had came to terms with the fact that I would never see him again.

"Emmett, you look like you have seen a ghost. What's wrong?" Rosalie asks.

"I feel like I'm looking at the ghost of my sister who should either be in her 90s or dead."

"I could say that I'm looking at the ghost of my brother who thought was killed by a bear 78 years ago."

"Isabella, is it really you? Or should I say Bella Bear."

"It is me, Emmy Bear. We really need to talk."

"That's understatement." I hear Peter mutter before Charlotte whacks the back of his head.

"Behave."

It is then decided to head back to the Cullen's house to talk more. Peter, Charlotte and Jasper want to catch up while I want to talk to Emmett.

"What happened after you thought I died?" Emmett asks as we sit on the front steps with Rosalie.

"I sulked for about a month before deciding to move to Texas for a new start. Everywhere in our home town reminded me of you. For about a year I worked doing odd jobs to get by before I was attacked while on a walk by a vampire and turned. After she told me what I was the one who changed me left. I discovered that I could drink the blood of animals."

"When did you meet Peter and Charlotte?"

"About a year or so after I was turned. It was thanks to them that I learned what being a vampire meant. We've been a coven pretty much ever since. I did leave at one point for a few months and ended up meeting the Denlia Coven."

We spend the next few hours talking about our lives as vampires. After that I get to know the others on the coven.
