Pump pet his cat and fed her some of the cat food, hoping to make it last as long as it could. He petted her smiling he waited for his friend to arrive, but that took a while. In the meantime, Pump walked around and found that at a point in the park far off the trail people usually took there was a chain-link fence with a 'warning high voltage' sign on it. He wondered why there was a sign and listened for any soft humming from the fence. Nothing absolutely nothing no sound just the sound of the birds behind him. He sighed and turned around not wanting to mess with it, yet he felt a slight unease forming. He walked away and the uneasy feeling left Pump hadn't even noticed.

When Pump came back his cat was crouched under a bush, he took her out and she instantly seemed to calm down. Pump sat down and started petting her again though he couldn't keep his mind off of two things. Skid, and that fence. What could possibly require an electric fence? Why wasn't the fence on? Questions filled his head then he shook his head and tried to focus on the fact he was with Skid.

"Hi Pump!" Skid smiled and sat down next to Pump. Skids smile almost made Pump forget about that fence. Almost.

"Hi Skid," Pump said as he wrapped his arms around Skid and pulled him into a hug. Skid did not retaliate, and he just hugged Pump back.

"Sorry I didn't come back earlier family business mom needed me for something," Skid said as he started petting Pump's cat. The cat was soft and black with long fur and amber like eyes a smooshed face and long ears for a cat. Pump giggled.

"Her name is Marisol," Pump said and stared at Skid with a soft expression.

"That's a pretty name for a cat," Skid spoke softly not wanting to disturb the cat as she has fallen asleep. "It's getting late I should head home. Again I'm very sorry I couldn't come here earlier." Skid ran off and Pump just sat there completely starstruck it was so sudden he just left in an instant. It hurt a bit but he didn't really mind.
