-it's never the goodbyes that hurt, but the flashbacks that follow.-

"C-Changbin..." she muttered under her breath, tears spilling out the moment she said his name. she didn't want to do it, but she had to. She didn't want him to suffer, but she'll go through worse. And lastly, she didn't want to leave Changbin, but she needed to.

"Why?" he asked in his soft tone, trying to comfort her in every way he could. However, that made her even more guilty, her heart pounded loudly in her chest as she maintained her posture.

"I'm moving to the States. A-and, we have to end this relationship, I'm sorry."

Changbin couldn't believe it. "B-but we can call, text, video calls."

"I can't do long distance relationships I'm sorry."

"A-aeri..." his voice trailed, a single tear rolling down his cheek. "I love you, and always will Changbin." She stated, smiling a little. With that, she gave him his last kiss from her before she exited the house.

Changbin was pathetically standing there in the middle of the room, looking at the photographs hung on the walls, each and every photograph was about them together.

--

"Changbin-ah! Look there's a dolphin there!" Aeri shrieked, pointing to a figure at a distance.

"Woah..." Changbin gasped, hugging the younger at his side.

"Let's take a picture Binnie." She chirped, whipping out a camera as it snapped for a picture.

--

"Ow!" a girl said, falling to the ground with a 'thump'.

"Oh, are you okay?" Changbin asked politely.

Their eyes met, their hands touching. His brown orbs stared into her black orbs.

--

Changbin sighed, remembering all those memories. He looked down to the floor. Tears streamed down his face, with a heavy heart, he grabbed the photographs and burned each of them with a lighter. He stared as the flames engulfed the photograph, his emotions pouring out into the flames as he stared at the fire.

His soul was gone, he was lifeless. His source of happiness, his reason to live, his reason he learned to love, she was gone.

"I'm home!" he heard someone saying from the doorway. Chan...

Chan walked into my room. The moment he saw the fire, he started screaming and shouting for a fire extinguisher and finally got it, getting rid of the flames.

The moment the flames were put out, Chan looked down to see photographs, burnt edges, and mainly a burnt face beside Changbin. Aeri......

"C'mon here binn." Chan welcomed, dropping the fire extinguisher. Changbin didn't know what made him do it, but he ran into his arms immediately, burying his head into the crook of his neck. He cried his eyes out, letting all emotions take over his movements. They stayed like that for an hour, Chan's arms wrapping around his torso while Changbin held onto the back of his neck, his tears soaking Chan's sweater.

'I think of you, I just can't talk to you right now.

I miss you; I just can't admit it right now.

I need you; I just can't show you right now.

I love you; I just can't tell you right now.
