How can I help her? What can I do?

Temari's pov

Im glad I have a friend like Shika. He always makes me feel like I actually belong.

As i am on my way to school, I saw Shika standing beside the gate as if he was the ruler of this place. He doesn't even have his shirt tucked in his pants. But technically, he kinda does own the school. 😅 (  found in chapter 3)

I wondered why he was here though. He doesn't have a dorm. And school is about to start. I woke up late because I overslept. I was having nightmares about Vance and didn't go to sleep till 5 in the morning.

Shika~ Your late Tema. Why are you so late today it's not like you.

Me~ Your going to be late to.

Shika~ Hahahahahanaha.

He looked at me.

Shika~ Hahahahahanahahanahaha. That was a good laugh. I haven't laughed like that in a while.

He said as he wiped a tear.

Me~ What do you mean?

Shika~ It looks like you forgot. We don't go to school. I can tell them not to let y'all go to school either if you want.

Me~ No thank you. You do realize that when we get to college, they won't be going easy on you right?

Shika~ We'll see about that. I don't think anyone can resist my charms.

Shika~ Wha was that for?

Me~ Your acting weird. Cut the crap and tell me whats bothering you.

Shika~ What are you talking about?

Me~ Do I have to slap you again in order to get your brain to work?

Shika~ No I think I'm good.

Me~ So what's the issue.

Shika~ I'll tell you later. But seriously, why did you wake up Kate it's not like you.

Me~ Why do you care?

Shika~ Your my friend why can't I?

Me~ Right... Long story short, I was having nightmares about Vance.

Shika~ That's his name?

Me~ No his name is bakashikabaka.

Shika~ Anyway, let's head to school. I'll tell the teacher it was my fault your ,ate since it is. Let's head inside.

Me~ Yeah...ok.

Why didn't he say anything to that?

We walked in the school gate and went to my class. Actually, he was supposed to be in the same class as me but skipped it. Be must be bold and confident to be able to come to class telling the teacher I was late when he's supposed to be in class. And to add to the fact that he's the one that got me late in the first place.

Shika~ It's my fault she's late. I was toying with her and made her enjoy it. Forgive me. I didn't mean for her to be this late.

Teacher~ Well ok. I guess that's fine. And are you really not coming to class?

Shika~ Nah. I'll rather sit around.

Me~ You don't want to learn?

Shika~ it's not like I'll learn anything.

Me~ What do you mean of course you will.

Shika~ I don't because I already know everything they teach. They just repeat everything each school year.

Me~ Then why don't you go to another school?

Shika~ I was thinking about it, but I can't leave you here with that guy.

Me~ Then come to class.

Shika~ Why?

Me~ Because he's right here staring at me. And we sit next to each other now because you don't come to class. He's been passing notes to me.

Shika~ Ok. I won't listen to anything he's saying, the teacher I mean. I will just be paying close attention to the guy only.

Me~ That's fine.

Shika~ I thought about it and will stay here and listen to what you have to say.

Teacher~ Great. Since you haven't been in class lately, you will have to sit a seat behind Temari instead if being right next to her.

Shika~ WHAT?!

Me~ Um sir, is that a good idea? I mean he can do whatever he wants behind my back since he's a toyer.

Teacher~ Your right. That's why I'll let him sit two chairs away from you.

I looked at Shika as he glared at me, going to the seat behind him.

Teacher~ I said two seats!

Shika~ I'm not going back two seats.

He glared at the teacher too. He must be crazy he can get expelled or something.

Teacher~ I'm sorry. Forgive me.

Shika~ What? Where's the sir?

Teacher~ Forgive me sir.

Huh?! What the fuck? What is wrong with this school!why am I even in this school! I thought this was the best school to get the best education! I was wrong! We were wrong!

Vance~ Seems like you messed it up for your boyfriend.

Me~ He's not my boyfriend and leave me alone.

Vance~ You know, when he said that you were his, he sounded like he was serious. So how can you tell me you guys aren't dating?

This time he wasn't smiling and his voice sounds calming.

Me~ Because we aren't. That was just him toying with me he didn't mean anything by it. We're just friends.

Vance~ Sure. Do you like him though?

Shika's pov

What are they talking about? He better not lay a hand on her. And why is she acting so comfortable around him? She was getting defensive a second ago. Talk about mood change.

Class was over. I just up from my seat as I stretched. I saw Vance walk away as I saw that as an opportunity to walk up to her.

Me~ Hey. Did he bother you?

Tema ~ No. Which was surprising.

Me~ I'm glad.

Tema~ Hey. Can I ask you a question?

Me~ Uh...sure...
