Oh Darling, Stay With Me

Chapter 1

This story is mainly in Spencer's POV, so be ready!

"Kelsey," I said, "please talk to me."
She's been acting strange lately, and I'm not quite sure why. Her 18th birthday was last week and we're graduating in a month, so what could be wrong?

"I'm just really scared," she said quietly, "I'm scared of life. To go to college and then get a job and I'm scared of not living enough, you know?" And the thing is, I knew exactly what she meant. She's already been accepted to Harvard with a one hundred thousand dollar scholarship, I mean she's practically a genius, but I haven't heard back from any schools. I'm hoping to get a football scholarship, I've applied to the top 10 colleges with the best football teams and I've had a few interviews, so I'm really hoping...

"Spencer? Are you okay?" Kelsey said, shaking my arm, "Can you hear me? Earth to Spencer."

"What? I guess I zoned out, thinking about what you said. I'm scared too, but we can do this together. You're incredibly smart, and Harvard really wants you. We don't have to go to the same school to be together, we'll still have each other."

"Spencer!" my mom shouted from downstairs, "there's a letter here for you from, an Ivy League school?"

"What?" I said as I ran down the stairs, "I didn't apply to an Ivy League school. Let's open it." We sat down at the table and opened the letter. As I read it, my eyes opened so wide they could've popped out of my head. "Oh my god!" I shouted, "Oh my god!" even louder this time. "What? What is it?" my mom asked. "I... I got accepted to Harvard! Their football team wants me! They're giving me a full sports scholarship! Mom I'm going to Harvard! I'm going to Harvard!"

It was practically impossible to hold in my excitement. I mean, I'm going to be going to school with my girlfriend! But, I never applied to Harvard. I wonder...

yay I finally posted my sequel! I'm sorry it took so long, but between school and tests and soccer and just everything has been insane!

anywho, how do you like it? Spencer and Kelsey are both going to Harvard!, or are they? the world may never know...

so I figure i'll post like once a week? maybe every Friday? its better to be consistent and not random like i was with stay with me...
