"Izo, I said no... What ? I don't care. You already set me up with ten people, and I won't go to another of your blind dates! I don't care if he is a yoga instructor, he could have the biggest dick that ever existed, I don't want to meet him. And that final." Marco yelled, hanging up angrily.

He sighed and put his head in his hands. He shouldn't have yelled at Izo, but he was in the middle of work and Marco had some better thing to do than to listen to his brother nagging him to go on a date.

A soft knock made him look up, his colleague Robin was in the door frame. "So you refuse to date a guy with the biggest dick ever?"

Marco groaned. "You heard. Izo just spent ten minutes nagging me to 'give him a chance'" He complained. Robin chuckled. "He told me that I was lonely, and according to Thatch I'm going to turn into a crazy cat lady. Shouldn't have told him that I was thinking about adopting a cat."

"You know what you need? Coffee." Robin said.

"I have to prepare my lessons." Marco tried to refuse.

"And you won't be able to focus after this call. I know a great place, one quick coffee, then you can come back to work."

Marco sighed, she was right, leaving his office for some time would help him, and after Izo's call he really needed a break. "Fine, but just one coffee." He said, standing up and taking his coat. Robin smiled and went back to her office to take her vest.

They left the second floor of the university of Loguetown, both Robin and Marco were history professors, and they began to teach the same year. Robin was a specialist in hieroglyphs and ancient history. Marco specialized in the myths and traditions.

Not even five minutes after they left, Robin stopped in front of a building. Marco looked around, a sign outside showed the recommendations of the day, that when he noticed that what he always thought was a pub, was in fact the coffee place that Robin was talking about.

The decoration of The Spade Coffee was greatly inspired from an english pub, leather booths were installed against the front windows and the two walls on both sides. The only wall with no booth was the one with the counter, in front of them, on the left there was a large display of patisseries with pies, muffins, cookies, brownies and cakes, and on the right there was the checkout with the coffee machines behind and a door who certainly leaded toward a kitchen.

A blue haired man, with a black t-shirt and an apron with the logo of the coffee embroidered on it, behind the counter looked and greeted them. "Robin, your usual?"

"Yes, Deuce. What would you recommend to go with it?"

"Well, there are still chocolate and raspberry macarons if you want." Deuce said, by pouring hot water into a mug and placing it on a tray with a tea bag.

"That sounds perfect, I will take one chocolate, please."

"Sure. What will it be for you?" Deuce had turned toward Marco who had said nothing since they entered.

"Oh, uh, I will take a large coffee with soy milk please."

"Sure, do you want something to eat with?" Deuce asked while preparing the drink.

"A slice of apple pie too, please."

Deuce finished preparing their order, they paid and Robin took their tray before going to sit down in one of the booths at the windows.

Robin waited until Marco had drunk a mouthful of his coffee and had begun to eat his pie, before she started to talk.

"Do you want to talk about it?"
