it's 4 am. the sound of water droplets dripping down the window alongside with heavy thunders woke jungkook up, since he was a light sleeper. not being able to go back to sleep and visibly annoyed, he took his phone and started watching videos of his favourite kpop stars.
you see, jungkook's dream was to become an idol, but school and other personal problems made it impossible for him to have the time to train or even do any other activities.
he's at an age where he has to start working harder in order to get into a good highschool and becoming an idol is probably the last thing his mind should think about.
jk pov; time passed by fast and it was already 7am , so i had to start getting ready for another boring day at school. I headed straight to the bathroom to wash my face with cold water and brush my teeth. everyone else was sleeping so i carefully went to the kitchen and made a quick sandwich to eat.
as i was dressing up, i heard a notification from my phone. it was a message from my friend jaehyun, saying he wouldn't be able to come pick me up to walk to school together. it didn't affect me much, so i grabbed my backpack and headed out.
the smell of the rain on the gravel and grass was intense and the road was filled with water puddles.
"Hey watch your way!"
someone on a bike passed right beside me speedly, making a piece of paper fall out of his pocket. i picked it up to see what was written on it.

"this..this is my chance, he thought. if i audition i can finally drop out of this stupid school and chase my dreams and at least make my parents proud"
fast forward to end of school, and jungkook is now heading back home. "that piece of paper could drastically change my life, is it worth it tho? and what if i fail, I'm gonna be a big disappointment, even more than i already am"
being deep in his thoughts he didn't notice the boy in the bike passing by him again.
" Ayo what's your problem? You almost hit me twice today"
" I'm so sorry, it's just that my bell broke and I can't notify people that I'm going to pass by them "
" Well you could at least shout or something!"

" I said I'm sorry bro. By the way I'm Taehyung, nice to meet you"
" Who said it was nice to meet you? "
" Haha very funny... aren't you gonna introduce yourself?"
"And why should i do that?.."
" Because i told you my name. I expect you to say it back. That's how conversations work duh"
omfg I can't with him
" My name's Jungkook, happy?"
" Very much,but i have to go now, I'll see ya around"
pfft yeah right
and with that he drove off. jungkook was still thinking about that audition paper and how it fell out of taehyung's pocket. maybe he wants to audition at that company too.
when he finally reached home, he was so tired that he passed out on the couch. tomorrow was saturday, so he would try contacting the company then and hope for the best.
