Chapterone

Another long and hard day of work finally finish and now I get to go home but at least I got a lot of tips today. I work at a café called Java and its very popular so its always busy. I grabbed my white knitted sweater because its kind of cold outside and I have to walk home but I don't mind it's only a 3 minute walk. I left and began my walk home putting my headphone on. While walking I got knocked over by these three guys who came out of a dark alley.

"A sorry would be nice". I mumbled getting up.

The warmness of the apartment greeted me which makes me smile knowing its warm in here. My best friend Claire and I live a nice apartment but it's in a horrible neighborhood so we never leave the house at night. But when we do go out at night we usually stay out until the morning when its kind of safe. I went into my room got into the shower and change into a dark purple tank top, grey sweatpants, rainbow socks, and a messy ponytail. I came into the living room to see Claire sitting on the couch wearing black yoga pants with a sliver band, a white T-shirt that's say "I love LA" and her hair is down in curls.

"Hey bae". Claire smiled turning her head away from the tv.

"Hey how's Paisley?' I asked sitting down next to her.

"She's great just learn how to walk". Claire smiled taking off her shoes "This moment would be great if she live here and her father could be here". She sigh.

Claire's boyfriend Felix mysteryily disappear a few days before Paisley was born and we haven't found him since. We knew Felix was a bad person so just in case Claire will be in danger she gave Ayana her older sister Paisley out of fear and her sister totally understand. I never trust Felix but Claire seem to love him so I never said any comments about him even after Felix disappear I kept my mouth shut about him. The only reason I didn't say anything about him is because Claire would probably get angry or be totally denial about Felix so I sat back and kept my comments to myself.

"How was work?' Claire asked.

"Freaking hard a group of guys kept touching my butt and kept telling me how beautiful I am and a blonde chick kept touching my legs because she said they were so soft but I got a lot of tips". I giggled.

"I told you that your legs are super soft you never listen to me". Claire giggled but than gasp "What happened to your arm?' She asked looking at my right arm.

"Its probably from those meanies knocked me over running away from someone". I groan touch it lightly.

"Are you okay?' Claire asked.

"Yeah it doesn't hurt that much". I sigh.

We ate dinner which we brought pizza, talked about our day, and than went to my room for tv before bed. We watch the news everyday just in case something around our area happens because something always does.

"In another news Jason McCann and his gang have been release from prison after passing a lying test and now two building have been bomb in the last pass 20 hours. Here is a latest picture of McCann and his gang member". The news lady said pulling up a picture.

One of those guys look like Felix but I don't say anything because Claire wouldn't believe me even if I say so. I turn off the tv and got into bed saying goodnight to Claire and went to sleep. Claire and I share a room because we only have two rooms but the other room is a storage's room soon to be Claire\Paisley's room when we get enough money or we probably buy a bigger apartment when we get enough money but for now this will do.

Next morning

I woke up looking at my bedside table seeing its only 7:30 in the morning and I don't have work today. Still tired I turn on the other side facing Claire who is still sleeping. We don't share a bed Claire just brought her a bed which isn't that big just like mines.

I got up went to the bathroom did my business and got dress in a white crop knitted, yoga pants with a white band, and left my hair down in its natural waves. I grabbed my phone, keys, purse and headed down stairs to the living room putting on my shoes.

"I'm going to Starbucks wanna come?' I asked knowing the answer already.

"You should know me by now of course girly let's go". Claire smiled getting up from the couch.

We got into my car and drove to Starbuck which took us a while because a brench of pervs wouldn't move out the way. We went to the Starbucks in the mall so we can go shopping I need a new outfit.

"I got a call yesterday". Claire said while we walk around and drinking our coffee.

"From who?' I asked walking into Victoria's secret.

"That's the problem I don't know who the only thing I do know its from a guy but he talk very quickly and he sounds just like Felix but than again why would he be calling?' Claire huffed.

"Who knows he probably want to get back together or something or maybe he wants to be apart of Paisley's life". I lied not wanting to say the real reason I'll let her figure that one out.

"It's possible but he wouldn't just make it a 2 second call there something else". Claire said.

I nodded and kept looking at different colored sweatpants. This whole thing about Felix is just stupid and the only reason I say that because Claire and I both know Felix wouldn't have left if he wanted to be apart of Paisley's life. The day he disappeared I followed him downtown to a neighborhood I never seen before and caught Felix cheating on Claire's ex's boyfriend little sister and of course I told her and she cried for days.
