Chapter 1 - A whole new world

- (Y/n)'s P.o.V -

There was a bright light before I can see my surroundings, and when I open my eyes, and I can see that I'm in some sort of a dark place, 'What the?! Where am I?!' I thought and I decided to move my body, and it did so I tried to feel anything under my feet, but there was nothing.

'Hm... Am I in some kind of a void? Cause all I can see is nothingness, it's like my eyes are not even open! But that wouldn't be correct since I can still blink, and I can't even...' I activated my life detection and energy detection skills, and after I activated it I sensed another life force, and the energy I sensed within them is dense! And it has a orange color for some reason. It seems like they are flying towards me.

"No I can sense someone, and they're coming towards me!" I whispered to myself, but I did nothing since it's useless, cause even if I conceal my aura and presence, and activate invisibility, I suspect that they can use life detection so I can't hide even if I conceal my presence and aura and use invisibility.

When the being makes it at my location, I can now see that it is a human like being, but it has a pure black scales with thick orange lines across it's body that originated from under the scales on the center of its chest, and it also has one huge eye in his face with black sclera, orange irises and pupils, it has a lean physique, sharp claws for the fingers and the toes, a slightly bulkier and bigger forearms, and legs and feet, a long spikey hair like the one from the super Saiyan 3 transformation except the hair is black, and it's as black as the scales are.

"You're awake, finally! I thought you wouldn't, and I would need to wait for a long time again! But now then, you must have a lot of questions right now, and you have the right to ask", the being said in a demonic voice that screams power and respect.

"I do have a lot of questions right now..." I stated as the being summons a throne to sit on. "Firstly, who are you? Second, Where am I? Third, How did I end up here? Fourth, Where is my body right now?" I ask, then the being smirked and said, "Well, for your questions, I am Umbra, and right now you are in your mind, how did you end up here you ask? Simple, your body is currently sleeping and it's been sleeping since the last 13 billion years, and your body is currently in the void, the original void, the place where nothing exist, well, nothing except you exist there".

"Hm... How long till I wake up, and which universe are we in right now?" I ask again, then Umbra seems to be thinking, a couple of seconds later he answered, "You should be waking up soon... If you want the specific time, then 100 years later you'll wake up, and we're in the Honkai Impact universe right now."

"Huh... Well, at least it's only 100 years... So what can I do to pass the time?" I mumbled, but Umbra still heard my mumbling, and speaks up, "You can train your abilities, you can get stronger in here, and you can learn more about your abilities while your in here, and also since this is your mind you can change the terrain and place to better suit your training ground".

"Thanks! Now then..." I replied to Umbra, then I sit with my legs cross and started imagining the area turning from the void to a mountainous terrain. I watch it change from the void to a mountainous terrain, and I gotta say, it looks so beautiful since all I've been doing my whole life was work and work so this looks so beautiful to me.

"Now that's more like it!" I exclaimed to myself as Umbra called me then said, "Looks like it's time for me to go, I will tell you when it's your time to awaken... For now good luck on your training, and have fun on your training" he then gives me a small smiles before erasing the throne from existence, and then he creates a portal and walks through.

"Oh I will!" I replied at what Umbra recently said after he walks into the portal, "Now then, let's see here... I have all the abilities that I can think of... Well, let's start with [Omnificence]", I said as I started thinking of any creature to create, but in the end I just stick with the most iconic fantasy creature, the dragon.
